We searched for months for the perfect photographer to capture our Catholic ceremony / African themed reception. My husband and I both live in Alaska, but were having the wedding in Sacramento. We decided to travel to Sacramento for a weekend to meet with some select vendors. We met with a total of 4 photographers including Primo Moments that weekend. We ended our search for a photographer after meeting Michael and Eileen. They were a delight to talk to. They brought samples of their previous work and various albums options to our hotel. They listened and took notes as we explained what we were wanted in a photographer. They paid great attention to the details and offered recommendations and advice on getting the most from our package. As it was important for us to capture the key traditional moments from both the ceremony and reception, Eileen and Michael took the time before, during, and after the wedding to get the details right. They were flexible with their wedding packages; allowed us to swap the engagement photo session for the church rehearsal. They got in touch with our wedding planner ahead of time to learn our movement. They arrived at all the locations where they were needed on time. Eileen even helped to get me ready! On the day of the weddings things got pretty crazy, yet they remained calm and collected. We had 30 minutes to take group pictures inside the church (Downtown Sacramento Cathedral) before the next wedding group. Eileen and Michael performed wonderfully, capturing all the pre-selected group photos and more. Our reception was equally demanding with all the African traditional customs and outfit changes (we changed twice not counting the wedding dress/tux). Eileen and Michael were at the reception from the beginning to the end and captured all the "primo moments". After the wedding, they had the pictures up within a few days. They even got us a proof book to take on our honeymoon. We had so many beautiful pictures to select from that we ended up paying for another album so we could get as many photos as possible. They were very patient with us in selecting the pictures for our albums. They took great care in editing, printing, and shipping us our albums, portraits, and canvases. Our walls are covered with framed photos and canvases from Primo Moments Photography. We are reminded everyday of that very special day by their beautiful work. She was available during our delivery window, and she had a backup photographer available if the baby came earlier. She was easy to communicate with, prompt with answering emails and very reasonably priced for her beautiful quality of work. Even though we hadn't met, she was so easy to talk to and so professional and very mellow and calming during the whole experience. I had Christina do my first son pictures three years ago and they turned out wonderful. She was…read morevery good with customer service and followed up on emails and phone calls. When I found out that I was pregnant with my second I contacted her to do his pictures as well. But the second time around I could tell she didn't have the passion for photography anymore. She rushed my session with my son. I paid her over $1,000 for 20 images and two prints. I received my 20 images but she did NOT send me my two prints as agreed on. I kept emailing her over and over and she stated that she would contact the print company to check but never responded back. It's been almost 1/2 a year and I'm still waiting. It's so disappointing that this has happened. Beware, if you decide to use her as a photographer, she will rush your newborn. Also, she is not calming or patient with your baby. She doesn't communicate well. She is very expensive and for the price I was paying, it wasn't worth it. Go find another photographer who is passionate about newborn photography because Christina is burnt out and just taking money from ppl at this point.

I am so happy that we chose Anita to shoot our wedding because she was able to do exactly that! We first worked with Anita during our engagement session in Napa and quickly learned how easy she was to work with. We have used over the top production like photographers who provide hair and makeup that equates to exorbitant pricing and also other people who basically told us they can deliver the moon and stars and then the final products fell totally flat. We had very bad pictures taken by another photographer and soon after, I stumbled upon Krista from Maylight Studio on Yelp. I hesitated for a second because we didn't really want to spend more money to redo photos when we just paid another photography company and have the whole inconvenience of everyone getting ready again, having to all be in the office at the same time, etc. but in my gut, I felt like we needed to. Let me tell you...Krista delivered!! We are a pretty particular bunch and Krista took many photos and was able to provide each of us (8 in total) with a headshot we all liked. She also worked with our office setting and provided us with a great group photo, utilizing a piece of art already in our office as the backdrop. She's extremely professional, adaptable, and has a good eye for detail. I would without hesitation recommend her for your headshot and group photo needs. Krista nailed it. She spent considerably more than my allotted time, and was impeccable in attending to the tiniest details, the perfect lighting, positioning and background options. She was really invested in translating my requests into reality.
