Not to mention the soonest they could do it would be 2 weeks. Mom mom went to see Dr Yi at the Family Dentistry a few years ago to fix a broken crown and she was very happy, so I called them up. They got us in the next day and she was in and out as well as all 4 wisdoms in 1 hour. I think she's the first one I've ever seen excited after getting out of a dentists chair with 4 less teeth, the cost was also extremely reasonable and very far short of what we were quoted for other dentists and the oral surgeon.

Upon arrival, I observed concerning hygiene practices--a staff member put on gloves, touched their face, and then attempted to treat my child without changing them. The office enforces a $100 rescheduling fee for patients, yet frequently changes appointments themselves. Despite multiple reminders warning of this fee, we arrived on time only to be told they didn't know why we were there and that there was no reason for the appointment, even though it had been scheduled and confirmed by their office. When we raised concerns, staff dismissed them and made no effort to resolve the situation, leaving us feeling that our time did not matter. Additionally, staff entered the room appearing confused, spoke to each other in another language without explanation, and repeatedly referred to my son as a girl despite being corrected, which felt disrespectful. Overall, the office was unprofessional, disorganized, and lacking in basic communication and courtesy. Our time and concerns were not respected, and I cannot recommend this dental office.

( that weren't there 4 months ago ) Claiming that a basic cleaning could severely risk my health and well being and they absolutely cannot do one under any circumstance. Even though every other dentist I've ever seen in my entire 49 years of appointments regularly, have been able to perform a basic cleaning with no problem whatsoever. I regularly get cleanings. Never had a cavity. Or major issues. But waited a little longer than I'd hoped to get a deep scaling done. You'd think I was an ex crack head and had major infections to address and it was dangerous for them to proceed. Dentists are horrible these days and it's hard to find really honest ones. They have a quota to meet and they try to add it on to every patient that walks in the door. Pushing unnecessary treatment plans and loads of fear mongering to create never ending reasons for a patient to come back and drop more money. You're better off to find an independent hygienist that doesn't have quotas to meet and can be transparent about what's needed. Lesson learned for the future on my part. There were several opportunities for them to be transparent about the appointment. 2 prior phone calls and in person form signing at the desk. Plus several people in the chair prior to the exam when I again asked and communicated my situation. I was completely ignored and funneled into a hustle session. I made it clear why I was there and what I needed from the start. They chose to be dodgy about communicating- didn't even mention they may not be able to and or weren't gonna do a cleaning - until it was too late for me to cancel and leave. l got duped and walked out with no cleaning done. Just a treatment plan for all new "findings" the "advanced AI" machine locates, that of course magically appeared within 4 months. Didn't have any of these issues within the last year of appointments/scans and X-rays I've had. They are the first dentist in 49 years to not be able to perform a basic cleaning on me. Ridiculous to think I need to get another deep cleaning just under 4 months after I had already had one? Who does that. As if it won't hurt to wait a little longer to let my bank account rest. The next day - the Manager on phone agreed that the team should have communicated to me what the protocol was prior , but took zero accountability for the fact that all 6 people I engaged with prior, chose not to. After that, she just stared at the computer in silence. There was no explanation of what she was doing, no reassurance, and no attempt to help me understand my options. Eventually, I was asked if I wanted to self-pay or reschedule, despite nothing being figured out. I called later hoping for more information, and I'm fairly certain I spoke with the same receptionist. The phone interaction was just as disappointing. There was an awkward pause before she even greeted me. After I explained I was calling about my insurance, she asked what it was, immediately responded, "We don't take that," and then there was complete silence. No suggestions, no guidance, no "I'm sorry," no recommendation to check with my insurance for an in-network provider...nothing. I ended up saying, "Okay, thank you, bye," because the conversation had gone nowhere. Everyone else I've interacted with over the years has been great, but the receptionist working at the far-left front desk left a lasting impression on me and unfortunately, not a positive one.
