Friendly, professional staff and a very clean environment. Been going to these girls for years and the only time I was worried was when one of my nails seemed to chip after a day at work (I work as a care aid, so lots of hand washing/hand sanitizer). I called them to make an appointment to have them fixed and not only did they tell me to come in right away, but they fixed it free of charge. Also the only place that could do acrylics on my aggressively chewed nails without hurting me or making my fingers bleed further. Constant care and check in's to make sure my nails are always the way I want (even when I request very short nails) and just the right amount of atmospheric buzz that you can really relax. They did my wedding nails and the nails I wanted for post wedding, and have repeatedly helped me to grow my nails out with the protection of the acrylics or gels. I definitely recommend them over any of the nail places I've been to in malls. Vanese nail salon is clean, smells nice and never makes me feel judged for what I like. read more

When I first went here they were okay, the shop its self was clean and nice and the girls working there were also very kind and remembered everyone's faces, but when I got home I realized there was a black hair in the middle of my thumb nail but I did only pay 25$ for the manicure so I wasn't to peeved off about it. Until I decided to go back yesterday and they have upped their prices by almost double and they seemed to use the bare minimum of products they need my nails are all see through the polish doesn't go anywhere near the edges of most of my nails and this morning I realized my middle nail is peeling and I could peel the polish off of it completely (I got gel so they should last at least two weeks). read more

I've been going to vanese since December 2018, after going to other nail studios for 9 years I tried them out and was pleasantly happy to learn how friendly they all are. It is reasonably priced and I am usually satisfied when I leave. However the last 2 times I experienced their business I have had an appt and upon arriving (always 5 min early) I've had to sit and wait roughly 25 minutes before getting sat down. The purpose of making an appt is purely time based. I don't have a lot of free time so the times I can go are important to me. I would much rather them tell me on the phone that they cannot do that time, they are too busy, and simply ask for me to arrange a different time. I went in today for an appt made for 4PM. Sat there from 3:55-4:25 before one of the techs approached me and said the woman who had JUST walked in, she had to tend to first. I had plans later, and couldn't wait for who knows how much longer after. So I said I'm sorry I need to leave then. I am pretty disappointed with the lack of appreciation Vanese appears to have for their clients time. I don't think that's right. Instead of telling everyone yes we can do that to try to squeeze in and make as much money as possible, I believe they should be upfront and truthful about their availability. Well after trying a bunch of salons around red deer this place was my favourite. The girls are nice and their salon seems quite clean. I have had acrylics done plenty of times and have always been satisfied. Along with this when they do seem to mess up they fix each mistake as well as make sure you are happy when you leave. Along with this they take their time. Only thing I think is a little unreasonable is their prices. They have mid range prices. read more

The staff was very friendly. However it looked to me from what I could see that they just finish the tools with water and use them again. Can you say scary? I also woke up with a huge blister on the bottom of my foot. Not sure if was due to callous remover or what but it hurt a ton. Pedicure was decent minus that. I am concerned of the cleanliness of the tools and files used and will not be going back here. read more

the staff was beyond friendly and sweet, and the store itself was very shiny and clean and smelled of flowers. the lady doing my nails could not have done any better, she killed it with the shape and matched it exactly to the picture i had shown her and didn't overcharge me at all. overall was very very pleased read more
