He is well equipped with a great sound system and played music for us in different areas (outside easy listening vs inside dance music). His music library is extensive and was happy to find special music requests I had. Virgil also rolled with all the agenda changes and ad hoc requests. He made the night amazingly fun for everyone. Additionally, the venue event coordinator was so impressed with him, she's going to start recommending him for other events at the venue.

I was at easy and not self conscious at all, she help guide posing and would just snap when there was something natural flowing that worked for a photo. I was not impressed with the editing done for final product of the book we received (not sure who did editing). Over all I was satisfied and my husband loved the photos which is all that truly matters; just being a photography student I have my own ideas on editing so I just wasn't as pleased as I was hoping to be. There were some duplicate photos in the book that only the color was changed or photo cropped slightly to tighten the frame. Some blemishes were not edited out as requested (including printing on the bottom of the shoes I wore that was visible in several photos and just not attractive to look at). I fully understand artistic preference and creative differences but again some photos selected for final product were not included, others where just duplicates, specific editing requests were ignores (which just came across lazy and not wanting to do it). I fully enjoyed the experience and my husband loved (still does) the photos but it was not perfect. But if you are wanting to do a shoot I highly recommend it! (Even elsewhere). It can be just what you need to give yourself a good confidence boost and just realize how amazingly beautiful you are!

I went to check out the studio and browse the outfits before I scheduled a shoot. I found out the books start at $249, however they have a mini accordion for $99. Cherish was so great beforehand, at the shoot, and was so patient while I decided what pictures I wanted. Cherish took over 200 pictures of me and surprisingly a lot of them came out fantastic. I loved them before they were even edited. I was super self conscious since I've gained weight but she made me look great. I would definitely do this again and I recommend going through her. Unless you want a book I would get the $29 living social deal. It was worth every penny.

We "interviewed" her by hiring her to do our engagement photos (at a VERY reasonable price), and liked her so much we chose her to do our wedding photos too! She is punctual and prepared, and likes for the photos to look natural- no awkward posey-posing. She lets you go with the flow with minimal direction. We liked that she wasn't bossy, she just would say, "Just hold hands and walk over there" or "Okay now kiss!" or "You are kind of doing a weird thing with your hand. Maybe try putting it in your pocket? Yes! Perfect!" "Now would you like to do a funny face one?" She is warm and fun and funny and made us feel comfortable during our shoots. I have worked with other wedding photographers before when I was in the industry, and I can tell which ones are in it for the money (little personality, bossy, borderline rude), and who does it for the beauty and art of it. Amy definitely loves what she is doing, and makes you feel her love and comfort from the other side of the lens. She was very patient on our wedding day when everything was behind schedule, and she captured so many sweet moments. Half the time I didn't notice she was there- sneaky ninja skills! She gave us a "sneak peek" of our images on her Facebook page right away both times, and mailed us a USB with all of our edited photos (there were LOTS of them, y'all!) when they were ready. I LOVED working with Amy, and I highly recommend you hire her too. My niece already booked her for her wedding in October!

As we sat around and talked about life and looked through their portfolio, I knew we were a perfect match. Their vision is editorial, NOT cheesy wedding. What was even more important to me was that they do not put a timeline on your day. There is no "you get 6 hours". They come when you want, and they leave when you want! No hidden fees, nothing. It was a joy to have them around on my wedding day, and judging by the few preview photos I have seen so far, my wedding photos are going to blow even my high expectations right out of the water. She adds a very personal touch to the entire experience, which we could tell from our very first meeting with her. Amoreena offers expertise in many areas, including formal pictures and photojournalism. She did a fantastic job capturing all the moments, and our album came out absolutely beautifully. Amoreena also has a fantastic eye for layouts, picture editing, and collages, which was fantastic for our album. Basically, whatever you want, Amoreena can help get you there. She is really flexible and will work with you to capture what you'd like. The best part is, she'll inject some of her experience and suggestions, but she is in no way pushy or forceful. The best part is that Amoreena offers EXTREMELY REASONABLE PRICES. I've seen photographers of her caliber that charge many thousands of dollars more. Sure, maybe you can find someone off the street or off Craigslist at rock bottom prices. However, how many weddings or engagement sessions are you really going to have? Do you really want to save a few hundred dollars and risk not being able to enjoy the pictures from your wedding day? If you go with Amoreena, you won't be disappointed with her professionalism, prices, dedication, and quality.
