Park Lake Park attracts both wildlife and local residents in search of a place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The trees that frame the picturesque lake provide welcome shade and beauty to the park. This park is a great environment for jogging, walking, or leisurely strolls. Park Lake Park is also equipped with benches and is ideal for families and groups looking to enjoy a meal outdoors. Birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts will appreciate the diverse wildlife that frequents the park. The tranquil lake is home to various bird species, and it's not uncommon to see ducks, an anhinga drying its wings, and other waterfowl gliding across the water. There is not much to this park, but it is geared more towards being a neighborhood park and again, it is a great addition to the neighborhood. In addition to the playground, it does have a few benches and a picnic table. It also has a small parking area. The hours are from sunrise to sunset. If you are in the neighborhood and have that want a playground, head on over to Honolulu Park.

I am also confident that it serves this particular neighborhood well enough. It is a great place to take the dogs out for a walk or just to enjoy a pleasant enough afternoon. This is what pretty much brought me here today. Orlando has some great parks and while this particular park can't compete with say the park at Lake Eola, it was never meant to compete with such a park. This park was designed to utilize some land that could not be otherwise used and give it a purpose and a place for a neighborhood to gather in leisure. That is not necessarily a bad thing, I seen a lot of people bring their dogs here and there's also a bicycle path that looks kind of interesting. There is a decent amount of parking and while it is off the beaten path, I'm sure that is a plus for the neighborhood and the people that choose to come here. The only restroom facilities that I seen on the property was a porta-potty at the parking lot. The park also looks relatively well maintained. All in all, as an overall rating, I will give Lake Druid Park four stars. Well there are certainly bigger parks with more stunning views and more to do, Lake Druid Park does have its own appeal.

We are working on socializing her but have found the other bigger dog parks to be very overwhelming and also very messy. This dog park had the two separate fenced in areas, one specifically for small dogs. It was well grassed and had plenty of space. Even if you don't have dogs, Lake Druid park seemed like a great place to go. There was an adorable community garden, a dirt bike path, and sand volleyball. We will definitely be back!

Loved this Mount Dora gem. We came here at the end of March…read more It's more of a board walk than a park, but there is a small green area with gazebos, picnic tables and bbqs before entering the board walk. Besides the nature walk through the board walk where we saw LOTS of wildlife (woodpeckers, baby alligators, turtles, ospreys and more) and beautiful cypress trees, you can also rent kayaks. This place is dog friendly. There are even baggies for people to pick up after their pets. I recommend wearing closed shoes if you want to walk the full trail. The board walk ends in a dirt path which loops around, but is not ideal terrain for sandals. However, walking to the end of the boardwalk and back again is just as fun (that's what we did ;) ) The park hours are sunrise to sunset but the board walk opens at 7:30am. Honestly this is a must see.

It's on one side of Lake Baldwin, with the walking/biking path running right through it. It's got a great grassy area along the water with terraces that make it perfect for picnicking and enjoying the view. I usually see several types of birds while there and more than a few bunnies if the timing is right. There are several groups that use the docks for yoga sessions and other groups that meet here for the start of 5Ks and walking/run groups. The neighborhood also puts on fireworks shows for various holidays and also market stalls on certain days of the month. It's a true community space and serves as a gathering place for so many groups.

I…read morecame out here over the weekend for a 5K, and I didn't really know what to expect at first but Harbor Park was so tranquil and had some great views during my run! There's a small rock that goes out to the lake so if you're not looking to take a stroll that's a great spot to relax and enjoy a nice view! If you're a walker or jogger which it seems like the majority of people there were, you've got a pretty good stretch of sidewalk and path to use where it doesn't make it feel like you're weaving through people to move forward. I didn't do a full loop, but it does look like there's a section back rowers the woods that is shaded nicely which is great for hot days! I'd love to come back here again on a quiet morning and take a stroll. The locals have it really good here!

It has a view of a small lake and seemed to be home to lots of birds and squirrels. Overall it is very peaceful and laid back. The park does not seem as though it gets a lot of visitors.

We have been to this park a few times for large events over the years and the city of Mount Dora…read morealways does a wonderful job securing vendors, and entertainment. On our most recent visit we came on July 3rd 2026 for their annual fireworks display. We usually go to Red Hot & Boom in Altamonte Springs but when we found out Mount Dora booked Cat Ridgeway and Tonic as their main entertainment, we couldn't pass that up for anything. Parking for events like this are always a pain; however, Mount Dora was offering free shuttle service from two locations. We chose the First Baptist Church of Mount Dora. When we arrived, there was barely anyone using the service and one of the drivers called us over and invited us in. It was pretty sweet because he was driving a brand-new Mercedes passenger vehicle and we were the only ones in it. He dropped us off near the playground and main parking area and we had to walk around the lake to get to Elizabeth Evans Park. It was an easy walk for us but if you have a disability, I recommend bringing a wheel chair or having an Uber drop you off closer to the park. There is more parking close to the main event but you have to pay $20. Leading up to the park there was a playground and kid's zone with bounce houses and water slides. As we arrived to the entrance of the park there were several youth groups providing entertainment like gymnastics and aerial silks, which were amazing. There were plenty of food and drink food trucks available but unfortunately there was only one beer/mixed drink tent. I was able to get one beer the whole night, there was always a line and by the time I got up there they ran out of everything except Guinness which wasn't very cold, so that was a bummer. Cat Ridgeway and Tonic were phenomenal. They had a really nice stage with open seating for anyone who wanted to sit there. We were quick to grab a seat right up front, we couldn't have asked for a better show. The fireworks show was fantastic, we had great weather and there were no hiccups with that but they did have an issue with the drone show. It was getting late and the free shuttle stopped at 10:30pm and they hadn't started the drone show yet so we had to leave early. When we got back to the pickup area there must have been 200 people still waiting for the shuttle. We said the hell with it and walked back to the church. It took about 15 minutes but it wasn't that bad. It is mostly uphill so once again if you are not able to walk very far this could be a problem. Two things they need to improve on is the restroom and adult beverage situation. There are clearly not enough restrooms. Just one air-conditioned restroom where maybe four people can use them at a time. They could still keep that but get a bunch of Porto Potties as well. As for the adult beverages; they need more than one tent and they have to separate the lines for mixed drinks and beer. Beer people move much faster than someone ordering 4-5 mixed drinks. Setup two stations so the people ordering beer can grab, go, and get back to the show. Other than those two issues and the 15-minute walk back to the car at the end of the night everything else was great. I would definitely come back here again for another event like this.

She was well known for her work developing a public library and parks. You get a great view of Grantham Point and the lighthouse from the park. Park amenities include a hammock, lookout pavilion, picnic tables, and a grill. Located next to the park is the historic Mount Dora lawn Bowling Club. Parking is free and it's a good place to leave your car because all of the shops and restaurants are just up the hill. Elizabeth Evans Park is where the Annual Scottish Highlands Festival is held every year in mid November. The festival features Scottish musicians and highland games on Friday and Saturday. There are no restrooms here but they did have a port a potty.
