I'm sitting in a parking lot waiting for my prescriptions and decided to review immediately because this office was just that great! I was a walk in client and still got in very quickly. They were up front with pricing so I knew exactly what the cost was to me before being called back. They were able to give me x-rays and a breathing treatment on the spot, and gave me treatment options without being pushy and without it seeming like they were getting money from a pharmaceutical company for selling certain brands. The doctor was willing to discuss my concerns about the prescriptions and never made me feel like I was annoying or out of line. He even printed coupons for my prescriptions when I asked about lowest cost pharmacies. I'm very happy with my experience here, and will likely return for primary care needs.

Receptionists have very little to do with how I feel about the medical care I receive. I can't. And (since I can't quite let this go yet), who shows up to a doctor's office without an appointment and not in the care of one of said doctors? People, seriously! Ugh. Ignore any such foolishness. You see all these 5 star reviews talking about the actual *medical care* received from the *medical group*? Yeah. That. Here. So, Hillsboro Medical Group... well, more specifically, Dr. Womack. Dr. Womack is a phenomenal physician and I feel extremely fortunate to have him as my doctor. When I moved back to Nashville after living in Miami, I was excited at the promise of top-notch, world-renowned medical care. Don't let the honky tonks fool you: Nashville is a doctor/health care town. Being a Commodore, my allegiance to all things doctors starts (and ends) with Vanderbilt. After an unsuccessful search for a doctor on Yelp, I turned to friends and, finally, the internet. I kept hearing about Dr. Womack. Great. Him. I want him. When I called his office to make an appointment, I found out that his schedule was packed and, because of this, he wasn't taking new patients. He couldn't; his waitlist was too long. I was crestfallen... but undeterred. I tapped into Tennessee sweetheart Reese Witherspoon's performance as Tracy Flick to make sure I got what I wanted. A short time later, I was a patient of Dr. Womack's. I quickly saw why his schedule was so packed and why he's in such demand. He's extremely intelligent, patient, inquisitive, knowledgeable, thorough, and judgement-free. I can be on the high maintenance side of medical attention and not once have I ever been made to feel as anything other than a respected patient with needs to be met and care to be given. He's always quick to respond to an inquiry and quite connected with the greater physicians' network so that when/if you need a referral, he knows exactly to whom to send you. My next door neighbor is a Vanderbilt doctor and he told me that Dr. Womack's reputation precedes itself. When a doctor is revered by patient and colleague alike, you know you have a great one. I trust him implicitly and feel very fortunate that he's my doctor. With stress that comes at you from every side, it's nice to feel confident that when you are at a time of greatest need, you have all the best support in the world. Dr. Womack is as good as it gets. Without a doubt.

We're very glad we took the recommendation! Located about 15-20 minutes from Nashville, this place isn't your average "urgent care". As soon as you walk in, you're met with a warm, homey kind of feel with a very friendly receptionist to help you get checked in. Instead of the typical plastic office chairs you'd see, they have comfortable lounge chairs and sofas to sit in while you wait. Everything was extremely clean and well put together. Even the patient rooms have a nice, homey touch with bathroom type sinks instead of the typical hospital sinks. Our nurse and doctor in call, Jordan, were both very friendly and helpful. We were able to get my fianceè blood work and a bunch of other tests I was surprised they could do on site. They are very upfront, honest and extremely helpful throughout. I'll definitely be going there next time I need to go to an urgent care (hopefully that's not anytime soon!)

I paid 130 dollars for him to try and scoot me out of the door with some imodium before ever listening to what issues I had, what food I had eaten or anything. I had to tell him that when I had appendicitis the cramping was far worse than this but this cramping pain is definitely not something I experience regularly. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Riverside Clinic in Nashville. My biggest…read moreconcern, and the reason I feel compelled to write this review, is the complete lack of communication from the doctor. Calls and messages go unanswered for long periods of time, if they are returned at all. When you are dealing with your health, waiting days (or longer) for a response is unacceptable and frankly alarming. Patients deserve timely follow-up, guidance on lab results, and answers to medical questions. That level of care was simply not there. In addition, my experience with the nurse who drew my blood was very negative. She was rude and did not appear confident or skilled in performing the blood draw. Unfortunately, my concerns proved valid, she used the wrong tubes, which resulted in most of my lab work being canceled. This created unnecessary stress, delayed my care, and forced me to repeat labs that should have been done correctly the first time. Overall, I left feeling that the clinic is far more focused on collecting payment than on providing quality patient care. It is honestly concerning that they are able to treat patients privately without insurance given the level of service I experienced. Between the doctor's failure to return calls and the clinical errors with my lab work, this has been the worst healthcare experience I have ever had. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone seeking attentive, professional, and patient-centered care.
