Like the review above, he didn't show up as promised, he didn't answer calls or texts. I gave him a deposit on the remodel project and when he didn't even start the job after 2 weeks of excuses (daughter sick, had to pick his daughter up, daughter was in hospital, out of town on another job.........) I asked for my deposit back. It took multiple calls, threats and finally contacting the Sheriff's office threatening legal action to get it back. It was obvious he didn't have it, but after he Knew I was serious about pressing charges, he paid it in multiple cash deliveries. I am embarrassed that I allowed myself to be in this position, can only hope this review and the one above keeps someone else from making the same mistake. If I could I would give this company a minus star rating. DO NOT HIRE THEM OR JOSH HILL!!!!

I had to hire another contractor to re-do everything he had done. What a nightmare! He was also paid to replace some doorframes inside my house. He replaced just one and refused to replace the others although I paid him for new door frames. Also, he was REAL bad about not showing up. If you hire him do NOT pay him until the job is completed and you are actually satisfied with the job. Evidently I have to post at least a rating of one star before I can post, but my actual rating is zero!

He informed me that some funds were spent already, and I was understanding of that, but he did tell me I would be getting a refund. It has been nearly two months since agreeing on the refunded amount, yet no funds have been refunded. He has given varying reasons why he was not able to make payment. Now I am needing to take further legal action. If you're considering hiring this person, please also research his reviews on thumb tack website, I wish I had seen them before giving him money.
