I had a great experience today with Helen! She is personable, helpful and an absolute pleasure to work with. read more

November 2021 called to ask about insurance rates on new vehicle I was considering. I was told they would call me back. As indicated in other complaints this agency does not return phone calls. Jan. 23, 2022 called for information regarding an issue with my home insurance. Again was told I would be called and was not. read more

I have been trying to cancel my parent's insurance since April (sold their home). I sent the info from the sell to them (given by realtor). Never heard anything from them. Then I called they didn't have the info even though they have the page with all the contact info? It was all mailed together. This has been never ending - can't find papers -need signature - agent will call back. I have called/contacted at least 5 times. Never received any call /letter back from anyone except a letter saying it time to renew my policy! read more

Nothing but trouble with this office from day one. They do not return calls, most of the time during working hours the answering machine picks up and you have to leave a message, which may or may not be returned. They do not communicate with each other, we had two different responses regarding a refund due from an out of state State Farm agency we switched from. Helen, who is supposed to be the office manager, exclaimed that I should be so happy to be getting a refund back of $90 when in fact the refund was over $200. Not to mention, it was me having to continually chase them for it and waste my time during the day to make sure they were filing everything like they were supposed to. The latest is a lost email with a uninsured motorist form in it, sow e WALKED the form in personally. That was weeks and weeks ago, only to get a letter in the mail that it was never filed so my premium is going up. When I called the office, I was told the person who I gave the form to is no longer there. UMMMM ok, so did you just throw away everything on his desk? I was transferred by Helen (the office manager) to a BRAND NEW employee there, instead of the owners as I requested, and I had to listen to her resume of accomplishments before I could even get her to go look for the form. I am awaiting a call form the owners, but I have no confidence this will happen. Off to call another agency. Stay away form here, unless you like to be the one keeping track of everything and doing most of the leg work. 06/28/2019 update NO OWNER PHONE CALL TO DATE A WEEK LATER read more

Leaving after having auto insurance with this company for over THREE DECADES. Added our teenage daughter to the policy and was quoted $343.70/month sitting in their office- but a few weeks later when the statement arrives it suddenly jumps to $523.31/month- surprise! (Thanks for your help Kyle!) Anyway this prompted me to really look into our coverage and start shopping around. Probably not surprisingly I found that the coverage levels that suited my family thirty years ago were completely insufficient today and needed to be revisited- you would think a long term agent might think about doing a check up once in a while but what do I know? Long story short I moved over to another very good company and have 2.5x the coverage levels for $294.94. (If I'd stayed apples for apples it would have been in the $160 range which is less than I was paying for just my wife and myself!) So do yourself a favor and don't assume that your agent you've been with forever is giving you a good deal or gives a crap about you. It was so easy to switch I did it in under an hour on my phone and saved $2500/year. read more

Moved to town last year, and discovered This agent . Nice folks and fast service, im a fan !

I'm writing this review because I was a customer for this agency with my car insurance for over 12 years. And a few months ago I called to make a payment on my car and after I got my confirmation number they Took 3 times more of what I supposed to pay, I did not realize this into the following month when the automatic payment went through the took the same amount out of my bank account, it was this Saturday and this agency doesn't have a 24 seven in office agents , so when I called the corporate office I explain to situation and they say they didn't see anything in my account whatsoever and they don't understand why they took that amount twice do they told me please call back on Monday and talk to them directly , so I did and her answer was that they make a mistake in my policy so they change it and they have to compensate for what I did not pay . ( Now I understand when companies have to make policy changes, but they usually inform the customer and you have to do when your policy well this wasn't the case, they made a mistake and I have to pay for their mistake . ) Their mistake cost me over $600 out of my own money and they refused to pay me any of that money back and on top of that big increase my insurance almost $200 and when I say that I was not able to pay that amount a month that I wanted to cancel my insurance they refused to cancel my insurance. It took me a month and after talking for hours with their corporate office they return me after 30 days $250 out of what they charge me originally but they could not do anything from the previous month. For over 12 years I was a loyal customer from State Farm Van wilder, And they did this to me. Horrible horrible experience!!!!! NO LONGER HAVE STATE FARM AS MY CAR Insurance. read more
