My family was about 3 hours from home, on a Sunday, at a soccer game my daughter was playing in. Afterwards we stopped at Olive Garden to eat. When we left the restaurant we realized we locked our keys in the car. We called the police department, they said "we don't do that anymore." We called the fire department they said, "nah we don't do that anymore. We said do you no who we can call, we our from out of town and they said, "nah we are not allowed to recommend anyone" and hung up. Shame on you city of Beckley! It just so happened I looked over in the Olive Garden parking lot to see a van with Van Dyke's Lock and Key, waiting for a take out order. I approached his vehicle and asked "Are you a locksmith?" He said, yes and I asked if he could maybe unlock our doors. He said, "Sure, no problem." He came over and unlocked the doors within just a few minutes. All I can say is I was IMPRESSED. On a Saturday evening Im rushing out, pulling the door closed with my house and car key INSIDE. THANK GOODNESS I HAD MY PHONE in hand.
