Mr & I did not visit the museum but instead got our fill of lovely blue & white Delft here at Jorrit Heinen

Lo and behold, they provide two more things I have been looking for pretty hard recently- beautiful reclaimed (recycled) wood (sloophout) with which I want to build some shelves in my work-in-progress kitchen and meubels op maat, or custom made furniture. I think I am going to commission a table from them at which point I will update this review. I haven't yet spoken with the head designer, Ignacio if I am correct, but with his associate who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. In addition to wood, they also create all sorts of beautiful things for the home from recycled materials. I am *so* happy I ran into this place. You should check 'em out too!

Most furniture they sell, you have to assemble yourself, but that also means smaller packages to drag home. They often, very often, offer huge discounts on their products so if you keep an eye on their website, which is pretty straightforward and clear for non-Dutchies with a little help from an online dictionary, you can save even more money. I, for example, have a white metal desk with a tempered glass top which is cloudy white. My 12 lbs speakers dropped from 3 feet onto my desk and nothing shattered, not even dented. So, I'm happy. I paid €30 for the desk on sale. What I'm really happy with, however, is their line of Wellpur mattresses, pillows and cushions! The Wellpur products, check pictures, consist of NASA/memory foam and they all have hypoallergenic bamboo covers that are removable and washable. The U shaped neck cushion is one of my favorites! It follows the contours of your neck, shoulders and jaw because of the memory foam. Something I'm also extremely happy with is the 3.5" memory foam top mattress I bought for €175 with 70% off!!! Perfect for people with a hard mattress or a sofa bed. Or even if you don't have a lot of room and you want a "bed" for possible guests, you can just throw one of these babies on the floor and voila! Bed! Their Wellpur line is well worth checking out. See the pictures.

I live about 4 blocks from this Antique Centrum and never walked inside before. Friends told me to…read morevisit and I'm glad they did. It is huge and winding with all types of items for sale. From affordable to quite pricey. It's really too much to see in one visit or in a hurry. I enjoyed looking old Delft ceramic squares. There is also a bar that is connected to it, which is quite cool.
