Established in 1971.

Myron Van Buskirk founded the company in 1971 and over the 45 years, the family owned business has grown to a full service real estate development company. The business is now under the direction of Myron's three sons, Mike, Steve, and Chad, and their responsibilities are divided among the different divisions. Mike is the President of Operations and oversees financial operations, property management, and brokerage. Steve is the President of Land Development and oversees raw land development of each project, our ten residential neighborhoods, and marketing. Chad is the President of Commercial Construction and oversees our of all construction projects.

Steve Van Buskirk is President of Land Development for Van Buskirk Companies, a full service real estate company located in Sioux Falls, SD. Steve received his BA degree and his MBA in finance from the University of Minnesota. Since 1992, Steve has built a successful career in commercial construction and real estate development by gaining knowledge and expertise from firsthand experience in the industry. His development focus has been on their fourteen residential neighborhoods and a dozen commercial developments in and around Sioux Falls region. Among the accolades of the companies work is being voted Best Residential Neighborhood and the best Commercial Development by the Business Journal. Highlights of their commercial work are two premiere lifestyle centers; The Bridges at 57th Street and the Lake Lorraine, both are innovative mixed-use properties.
