I booked a 2 room king suite for 5 of us (2 adults, 3 kids) and it was the perfect size to not feel crammed in a hotel room! We checked in about 5, and Hannah at the front desk was really kind and helpful and also made check in really quick. The lobby is really clean and well lit. Our kids used the pool area until around closing time, which was really clean and well kept. The breakfast Sunday morning had a really nice set up, a lot of options and employees keeping it clean at all times. I was really impressed by the breakfast. I'd definitely stay here again next time we fly out of St. Louis!

It's been…read morealmost flawless, and in my opinion, the benchmark for which Hilton needs to base ALL their Hampton Inn's on! The staff is always friendly. The rooms are nicely decorated and very little wear is seen. Bathrooms and bedding are super clean. Breakfast, although a free buffet, is still the best free buffet I've experienced at any hotel with free breakfast. Don't forget fresh baked cookies and milk in the evening in the dining area nightly. I will return again and again! Keep up the good work Hampton Inn managers!!!

The room has a microwave and fridge, a nice sized closed, dresser drawers. Lots of plugs for devices as well as usb chargers on the alarm clock. Woke up Tuesday and headed to breakfast. They had yogurt, packets of instant oatmeal, cereal, waffles, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, muffins, bread, bagels, cinnamon raising bread. Had some breakfast and headed out for the day. Wasn't gone long, came back and decided to go to the pool. The pool is small but we had it to ourselves because there was NO SHADE. They have tables but no trees, no awnings etc. The maintenance person came out and said they had blown away in a tornado and that corporate had not given money to replace them. We didn't stay long because it was so hot. Went to the nightly kickback. They had popcorn popped, pretzels, chips and tortilla chips with nacho cheese. The soda machine is was available and it was nice to be able to get ice and cold water for our water bottles. On Wednesday we checked out and I asked if they could store our luggage while we were sight seeing as we had an SUV which did not have a luggage cover on it and I did not want the car getting broken into. They stored it for us. Came back later in the day to pick it up and had no issues. All the staff I encountered here were friendly and helpful. This was my first time at a Pear Tree Inn (Drury's budget hotel) and I enjoyed it. I would stay at this location or any other one of this brand in the future (sadly they are not where I live).

We didn't have a bad experience per se, but the Hampton next door is DEFINITELY nicer. The staff were such a mixed bag. The lady who checked us in was super friendly, but the guy who was bald and wearing a mask was extremely rude when we went to check out. He didn't even let us get a word in! The room was modern and decently clean, besides a pillow with a dried blood droplet on it. Yuck! Luckily, the front desk lady switched the pillow out for us. There is Netflix and Prime Video on the TV's, so that's a plus! Also, free breakfast, but it was not very good. The convenient location makes this a 3 star hotel, or else I would have given 2, quite frankly. For $250 a night, the staff should be nicer
