Nice guys emailed me back and forth. I didn't use their services but i can tell by the conversation…read morethat i would give them a shot. They seem easy going and nice about things. I am not in the market at the moment but when i am going to by a house i will look you guys back up. Thanks

I recently had my home appraised with this company. I had done many permanent upgrades in my home…read moreand yard, such as 2 large covered patios with colored, stamped and sealed concrete; granite kitchen and island with full backsplash; fully landscaped front, back and side yard using 4-6 inch river rock and desert hardy plants and trees; attic with pulldown ladder for extra storage; stainless steel appliances; 18 inch porcelain tile and baseboards installed on the diagonal and slate throughout 80% of the home; Custom patented stain glass window; AC and heating replaced with superior Maytag 12 seer with 10/20 warranty; Andersen Permashield sliding glass doors; new 10 year smoke alarms with 10 year batteries; custom closets in the bedrooms, and much more! It was described as being well maintained with a ONLY a mention of granite!! The pictures they took did NOT in any way do the home and yard justice! A picture of an old smaller hot water heater with cloth straps and stickers all over it, which was NOT MINE ,was included in the appraisal! Mine was a top of the line Bradford White 50 gallon only a 18 months old with metal straps. I was disgusted and contacted them about all this and requested another appraisal which was denied. Two patios were not mentioned nor were they drawn in with a dotted line on the groundplan. The lender would not have been favorably impressed.... Every realtor that saw my home believed the appraisal would come in higher than the listed price! Two homes smaller than mine, with smaller yards on the same street and same block with nowhere near the upgrades as mine sold the day after mine for just $,6,000 less. Another smaller home with a half patio, again with far less done to it, sold a few doors away for $13,000 MORE just 4 days after my appraisal. MY ADVICE: Avoid this company like the plague, and find out who the borrower's lender is if you are selling , because the lender chooses the appraisal company! Think about that for a minute...

In days of old, the word pawn is an important word from the Roman era that meant "platinum," and…read moretranslated to cloth. In these times it was not gold and silver that were important to the people, but clothing. The working class would pawn their clothes to meet their needs. These days, no matter what class of society we come from a pawn shop is a place to exchange goods for one's needs. While it may not be clothing that we find as useful as the Romans, many other things can be pawned or sold to meet your needs . Come on in and see what treasures that have been lost and need to be found. Do you remember when we used a hand shake to make a deal? Can you take someone on their word of honor? These days, our world has been shaken up, everything cost more than it did before. Where are we to find the stable footing for our future. You might want to consider a more tangible asset. For all these panning services this is the business to use. If you are looking for something different to put that fiat currency into. They carry a wide variety of silver, gold, platinum to trade those dollars into . If your into historical items come and discover what "moneys" of the United States used to look like. Many coins from around the world are for sale too. These purchases must be made with cash though. So if your looking to buy gold, silver and old coins bring green cash for the exchange. Are you looking to trade in some old coins. Do you need some money on the spot, then this is the place to be. You will get a fair market value for what your selling? The owner posts the daily values for gold and silver spot trading too. Your going to get the best integrity from the employees here whether buying or selling. When you come in ask for John he is an enjoyable human that loves what he does! He was the guy that aided and still serves all our coin purchases. He still believes in a hand shake as someone's word. Let's have a great day now!

On the coin side, it's by John, and he was honestly great to work with true gentleman very patient and knowledgeable. He took his time going through our coin collection, explained things clearly, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. You can tell he knows what he's doing, but more importantly, he treats you with respect, which goes a long way in a space like this. The other side of the shop is more focused on toy collectibles. We didn't get a chance to meet the owner there, but the woman working was friendly and welcoming, and the overall vibe was positive. Overall, it's a solid spot if you're into coins or collectibles. Good service, knowledgeable people, and a unique setup having both businesses under one roof.

... absolutely BEYOND EXPECTATIONS!!! Let me explain: We've…read moreall learned that when something is too good to be true, it just might be. While doing some routine online shopping, I discovered some extremely well priced "925 SOLID STERLING SILVER MEN'S CUBAN NECKLACES" on the website of one of the 10 top retailers in America. They were handsome. They were underpriced. ... and I assumed (wrongly) that the inventory prices might be lagging the price increases in precious metals, (ahem!), so I purchased a few in different lengths and waited for my (explicitly stated) FREE DELIVERY. When they arrived, my husband and I marveled at their weight and handsome mirror finish. They were all stamped 925. My husband sells on eBay and we discussed ordering some more, holding them and potentially reselling them there if/when the price of silver continued to increase. In other words, we invested in them thinking we had spotted an opportunity. We ordered MORE. He researched other similar items on eBay and the prices already were much more expensive and proposed listing one to test the market. At this point I must have felt some sense of caution because I decided that I personally didn't want to sell anything that I wasn't 100% sure about... but I didn't know HOW could I be sure without potentially damaging the necklace. I asked AI where to test sterling in Las Vegas and on 1/29/25, I called Nevada Coin & Jewelry feeling uncomfortable because I had no interest in buying anything. I spoke to Laura and she was warm and gracious while explaining that they had equipment that could assess the exact metallic composition of an item without harming it. Within an hour I was THERE. Laura took me to a private booth where nobody could hear me or look over my shoulder and evaluated three items including one necklace. (FREE!) She didn't make me feel stupid. She allowed me to photograph the screen that displayed the instantaneous analysis. Guess what? My big box major retailer product, listed, sold, packaged and marked as 925 sterling turned out to be: 90%+ copper. Soooooo, What's next? A whole can of worms as my dad would have said. I'm holding a few hundred dollars worth of garbage that needs time and work to obtain a refund and apology (?) for fraud and online misrepresentation. Trust me, I don't believe that this major retailer with a good reputation will want to ignore this type of threat to their good will with the public. But as a former corporate person in both product development and marketing, it's hard to believe they didn't do more testing themselves. When I do resolve this issue and am made whole for my purchases AND my time and inconvenience, I will return to this review and post the outcome story. PLEASE tell Nevada Coin & Jewelry that you saw this and say "hi" to Laura for ME!!! Thank you LAURA!!!

I also had a few very nice rings that I wasn't going to bring out right at the beginning. I had a project on Yelp and made it pretty clear that I was looking to resell a ring. I was trying to find an actual jewelry store that purchases rings, not a pawn shop type of place that gets rid of the diamonds and melts the gold down for weight. Basically that's exactly who these guys turned out to be. The person who spoke to me was rude and supercilious right from the beginning, not very pleasant. He barely even had a chance to take a glance at my ring when he said "very generic". Didn't bother to get out a loupe and look at the diamonds, wasn't interested in really discussing anything. Huge turn off! I think I'd have a much better experience at a pawn shop than at this place. I wouldn't recommend that anyone go here for anything. Take your money to a different jewelry store that might appreciate your business.
