'Bout dying hair, the colour has turned out far from catelogue but it could be due to my nature colour. Hence, its probably hard to blame their skills. Just done curly hair a week ago, what i could say.....uhm. It isnt curly at all when I waked up the following day. I was back and asked them to fix it. They accepted and fixed it a week later. Its great this time but the atitude of the girl who have done wrong to my hair was so so so horible. Her name is Jessica I guess. My advice is never never get your hair done by her.

It was a 25km to get there but it was worth it. Coming here again and do my Korean food shopping at the same time afterwards.

You're greeted as soon as you walk in with a complimentary "tea of the day". Yummy and all different flavours, cool tea in summer, warm tea in winter. Then there's a THOROUGH consult with the stylist. I've had my hair done by all three ladies at one time or another and they are all excellent. After that the work begins. Hair On Oxley uses quality Joico colour and styling products and the colours are to die for! Plus the products leave your hair in BEAUTIFUL condition with a glorious shine, even if it's previously been damaged. The stylists genuinely care about the quality and health of your hair and will be honest if they think going from black to bleach white in one go will be damaging . They don't push unnecessary service and they don't shove products to pressure sell in your face! While all this is happening you're offered complimentary drinks. Everything from espresso to white wine or even a cold beer! Then, as the hair colour is processing you are offered a complimentary hand sugar moisturising scrub (they even have a menu with all the different flavours!) finished off with a hot towel and moisturising body butter! It's worth it to go just for all the little extra pampering you get .... but back to the hair. When it's time to rinse your hair there's no sitting in a chair with your neck craned back at an uncomfortable angle. They have lie back lounges like a bed! You rest your head on a comfy "pillow" over the basin and enjoy the eye rolling magic of a head massage as they work the intensive treatment in. Then back to your chair where their talent really comes to life with the scissors, blow dryer and straightening iron. You feel like a million bucks when you walk out of there BUT BEST OF ALL .... it's VERY reasonably priced! Way less than inner city prices but for same if not better quality colour & cut PLUS all the little extras! The atmosphere is relaxed, the girls enjoy a laugh and chat, parking is a breeze. Why would you go anywhere else??? I'm staying forever
