We dined on a fairly warm day but we chose to sit outside because we did have a little boy with us and he wanted the opportunity to see the train should it pass by... and it did! The staff is super cool and super nice. The charcuterie board was delicious and worth every penny. The pizza was less impressive. And overpriced. The bathroom is clean. Major plus. My only complaint is... they had some customers who parked right next to the patio dining area. I understand they don't REALLY have control over that but... they do. They could've simply asked them to park in actual parking spots. We didn't say anything cuz we were done within the next half hour anyways but still.

Just walk in and see what they have on display. I literally just walked in off the street after shuffling around downtown Valpo. I didn't even know that this museum existed until I came upon it randomly. This is the area's oldest museum dedicated to the history and culture of Porter County, so you're seeing local art and history at its finest here. There are three different rooms in this museum that have interesting things to look at. Some of the exhibits have multimedia aspects to them, and some are just a collection of objects on display.
