Laurent was so wonderful to work with. I contacted Laurent about having the Boomerang Photo Booth…read moreat my Midsummer Nights Dream themed 50th Birthday Party. I had seen him with it at different party in December of 2017, and took his card at that time. So glad I held on to his card! In mid July, I reached out to Laurent via email about my party that would be over Labor Day weekend. Once I discovered the price would fit my budget, I signed SocialLight SoCal up! Contracts, payments, scheduling....Everything was handled via email which made it nice and easy for me. Laurent and Tatiana arrived an hour early (at my request) to set up. I showed them where I would like the Boomerang to be, and that was the only direction I had to give them. The fact that I didn't need to do anything was so nice for me, as I was so busy dealing with caterers, bartenders, and last minute details. I am so appreciative! They were true pros! Laurent and Tatiana stayed to make sure the photo booth was set up and functioning properly, and then left their assistant, Diana, in charge at the party to operate the photo booth. Diana was fantastic as well! All of my guests loved her, and so did I! Note: The Boomerang doesn't take still photos, it takes moving, action clips aka GIF's of you and your friends. I thought it would be a fun and unique alternative to a party photographer. At my party (and the party that I originally saw it at) people were lined up to get their Boomerangs done! It is so fun to look back at all of my friends getting silly.....And this is the type of memories I wanted captured! The Boomerang and my party theme were all about fun! So you can see some photos, I changed the GIFs into photos to share here on YELP. I wasn't able to post them as GIFs here on YELP. NOTE: If some of the photos look blurry it is only because they are stills captured from moving GIFs. The Boomerang quality is AWESOME! Bottom line: If you want something fun & unique that people will totally remember, contact Laurent and company at SocialLight OC for your next party.

I dont have enough good words for Ashley. From the first moment of our initial consultation I knew…read moreAshley was going to be the perfect photographer for our wedding day. We spent the first 30 minutes just chatting so she could understand what my vision for the day was and what was the most important to capture. I wanted a few very specific things (that included leaving our venue for 45 minutes) and Ashley was not just on board but had suggestions to make them better. After this she provided clear pricing tiers and I felt like I had so much autonomy in what I was paying for. Throughout the planning process Ashley was a great resource and she pivoted many times tk make sure we had everything captured before the ceremony started. Then came the wedding weekend. And Ashley outperformed even what I was expecting. We opted to have her at our rehearsal dinner and I cannot recommend this enough. Having her getting to know the key players in our wedding day was so helpful. All of our family and friends talked about how much they loved getting to talk with her and get nice family portraits during this time. I have attached a few photos from our rehearsal dinner (which we got back about 2 weeks after the event and it only took about 2 more weeks to get all the wedding photos) as well as a photo of the poloraid book we received day of ( GET THIS getting to have this to look at the next day was one of our favorite memories of the weekend) as well as some photos she had taken on her phone that I received right away. Ashley truly is a world class photographer and if I could do it all over again I would go with her in a heartbeat.
