Small theater with great acting and directors. Improvements would be in sound quality.

Great local theatre. This place will make you forget that you are at a community theatre. If you are a student you can get student rush tickets before the show at really affordable prices. read more

They offer a variety of story times catered to each age range. Story time includes poems, songs, dancing, books and they are always finished off with a craft that sticks with the theme of story time. Such a fun offering! The book selection is wonderful and they also have puzzles and a few stuffed toys for children to enjoy. They also offer computers with age appropriate games. The staff is very helpful if there is something specific you are looking for. One of my favorite features is that if the Wasilla library does not have a book you are looking for at their location you can place a hold on a copy throughout Alaska's public libraries and they will ship it to the Wasilla location for you to pick up! I can't wait to continue to explore what else the library has to offer!

There were 6 people ahead of us when we arrived and honestly, we felt like the line moved fairly quickly with 4 people working, one which was in training. This weathered old beauty just sits on the side of the road waiting for passers by to stop and take note. The peeling paint is glorious. There's a small placquard recounting the history of how the boat came to be abandoned in it's current location. Theres also another very cool and strange little building behind it that is part of the historical preservation site.

This is part of the Anchorage Library System so my library card, which I got in Eagle River, worked here!! 2. The online card catalog is very easy to use and reserve items. 3. The staff is very friendly and helpful. 4. Unlike the Eagle River library, this one is open 6 days a week. Great hours too! The library is super easy to find. You just drive through downtown on Evergreen until you hit a dead end. It's right across the street from the end of the road. Turn right and then two lefts. Parking lot! My nerdy English teacher book worm self is satisfied and happy. =)
9-4-23 I ordered custom plates, got one email to confirm. Just one. It has the old plate number…read morewith my new custom one. It's now 2-21-24. ZERO plates have shown up. DMV says no plates have been returned to them from a failed delivery. I had my plates mailed to my mailing address, not my physical address like the DMV claims. My physical address is not registered as a mailing address anywhere, ever. I have "informed delivery" via my Post Office so all my mail gets scanned before I get it. I check it often and never once seen my plate. I can even go back and search. DMV can't find my plates, blamed my post office. Post office asked for a tracking number. Called DMV, got massive attitude for asking for a tracking number, dmv had NO tracking on it. My plate is changed in their system, but they refuse to give me my plate. Was told with massive attitude that I will have to pay twice as much for my custom plate that THEY lost. I contacted my bank and asked for a refund. This is shady and sketchy AF!!! The reason we gave it so much time is because we have asked other people how long it took them to get their custom plates, we got the answer of 2-6 months. Thanks for stealing my money and pocketing it. Why the F*ck would I lie about it. For real. I paid extra for a service and you failed to deliver/mail the product.
I know what you are saying, "Five stars for the DMV? What?!"…read more Yeah, I know. It felt like the twilight zone when I walked into the Palmer DMV on a rainy Thursday around 11AM. I was going in to transfer a car title and had come prepared to wait for at least an hour. Imagine my surprise when I walked in and the place looked like a ghost town. There were only about 20 people milling around waiting to do various DMV tasks. I grabbed a number and couldn't believe that there were only five numbers ahead of me, which were getting called up at a quick pace. I sat down for less than five minutes before my number was called and a really nice woman name Marjorie walked me through the process of changing the name on the title and paying my vehicle registration fee. All in all, I was in and out of there in less than 15 minutes. That has to be some kind of world record! I asked Marjorie if it is always that slow at the Palmer DMV and she said not usually, but the rain seemed to be keeping people away. So, I guess the best advice is go on a rainy day in the morning! A 15 minute DMV experience is worth 5 stars to me!

I am sure that some users will discover this post and audibly gasp in derision. How could he write a review for the best place to mail your package that no one knows about? And to those individuals, I apologize. Truly sorry. Don't hate me. I'm sure they, like me, fear that once the cat is out of the bag, they will be forced back into the long and circuitous lines that are the US Post Office of Palmer and Wasilla. Because that is the best part about this place. There is never a line. They are fast and friendly. They ONLY take cash and check (yes, you heard me correct). There is an ATM in the building. Check the picture of the hours. They open at 9 and close at 5. They are also closed from 1230-130, daily. Saturday hours are different. But skipping the line? Getting in and out so quickly? Walking less than 15 steps from your car to the counter and back? All worth it. You're welcome.
