The shop owner said transformer was defective and needed replacement.. Owner replaced the electrical hanging wire with an obviously used wire that had kinks and some fraying. When I picked up the cube light it was CHIPPED on the corner. It was flawless when I left it at the shop. The entire shop was a mess of disordered benches and parts. the Whole time I left the glass cube light I feared that there might be damage in that haphazard environment. When I picked up the lamp it took owner 20 minutes to locate the small glass light bulb cover that he misplaced. All of this time and chaotic effort cost me $146. That was Extremely expensive for a used spare wire A $40 transformer and repair for FAR MOSRE THAN THE ORIGINAL PIECE OF THE CUBE LAMP! BEWARE!

We found granite at a competitor, but allowed San Luis Marble to quote for fabrication - she was late for that appointment too - hmmmm writing on the wall?. Three pages of "stuff" accompanied our bid and we were left with a very sour taste in our mouths: property liens, not responsible for anything, up charges galore but the coup de grâce was that my handrail was drawn backwards! They may be "ok" fabricators, but I just didn't feel comfortable letting them touch the irreplaceable granite slabs we had purchased.

His attention to detail is very impressive and his obvious skill and knowledge is so helpful when you are working with him on your project. In this pre-fab world of cabinets from places like Home Depot, his work is so beyond that level, it's like comparing a Buick to a Bentley. Both will do the job, but which one would you rather ride in? All that said, his prices are not at all unreasonable and I could have never have found pre-mades that would have fit into my small space so seamlessly. I can recommend Woodman's work without a single reservation. And the cherry on top is that he is also a very nice man and so easy to work with that the entire experience was a total joy.

I strongly urge anyone who is looking at kitchen/bathroom design to purchase from Fergusons SLO. In 2025 from the advice of a contractor I purchased everything that was needed to furnish a to-be-built ADU. All kitchen, laundry room, bathroom, sinks, toiltets the lot. As 2025 passed and there was no permit, and no start date in sight, and on top of that the contractor was less than trust worthy I approached Fergusons to explain the problem: there was no ADU, there was no permit, certainly not in 2025. Fergusons without hesitation refunded me the total $ amount. We were floored. WHAT customer service, WHAT integrity, WHAT goodness walks the floor of this showroom and the management. Integrity is what permeats this business. No matter what future plans are considered there is NO WHERE in SLO county that would get our custom. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Fergusons.

Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed by the lack of accountability and consistent blame-shifting behavior exhibited throughout the interaction. Despite encountering challenges during the project, Kody failed to take ownership of the issues arising and frequently shifted blame onto others or external circumstances. In addition to all of this Kody was degrading towards my wife, constantly talking over her, raising his voice, and dismissing her opinions as they did not matter. On top of that he said he was going out of business and not going to finish other work needing to be done. All of the issues we had could have been very easily addressed by taking the time to listen to concerns we had with the craftsmanship / time frames and come with a solution rather than a bag of excuses. Quality of work was 8 out of 10 but the customer service is a 1 out of of 10.
