We were told the rebuild/remodel would be done in weeks which unfortunately turned into months. The subcontractors that were hired were clearly unskilled and unknowledgeable about construction. Frequently things had to be re-done multiple times because of poor craftsmanship and lack of skill. We eventually terminated our contract and was refunded money however that was only after 5 months of mismanagement, when we had to get owners Jon and Chuck heavily involved.

A hidden gem of a different kind new the Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens…read moreWe were staying at the Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens, recently so that we could enjoy their Halloween festival, the beauty of the gardens and visit other local attractions. As sometimes happens, we travel with limited clothes to minimize luggage and were running out of clean clothes. Options at the Spa are a little expensive and we were contemplating looking for a drop-off laundry in one of the nearby towns when we ran across this place on the grounds. It is a short drive or walk away from the Spa and the villas nearby. It has a big woodcut sign right in front and is near one of the key card entry gates. It has limited parking in front of the facility. Like a standard laundromat, it has 8 washers and 8 dryers that each cost $1 per run. There is a machine on the wall for buying soap but I would suggest bringing your own. It was not busy at all and was clean and well kept both inside and out. Overall, I think for those people who like to do their own laundry or like to save money on trips this is a hidden gem in the park.

kenny@ductcleaningsolution.com…read more I called Kenny Gunnels of Duct Cleaning Solution LLC in Smiths Station, AL to get help resolving a dust issue that was impacting my health. We had lots of dust particles circulating regularly through our HVAC system, which was making me cough and sneeze constantly and keeping my house very dusty. The particles impacted my health causing upper respiratory infections, bronchitis and allergy headaches. I was surprised to learn there was microbial growth in the ducts, so I also asked for the encapsulation process, which involves the application of a polymer coating sealant to the interior of insulated ductwork. The product Kenny used is designed specifically for use in HVAC ductwork and has anti-microbial properties to aid in the prevention of future microbial contamination. I was so impressed With Kenny's work ethic and diligence to ensure everything was done correctly. I'm currently working from home and there was minor noise and literally no disruption to my work day. I'm glad that I found a great professional to help resolve our issue with contaminants in our HVAC system, The other thing that I loved about the service was that Kenny was a great communicator letting me know when he was on his way, when he was here and when he was finished. He even sent text messages with pictures so that I can share them with my husband gets home from work! I highly recommend Kenny Gunnels with Duct Cleaning Solution LLC if you need to improve your air quality in your home!
