If I could star less than 1 than I would.
I have never been so disrespected in all of my life and the tattoo is simply shocking.
I went to Valley Ink to get a simple tattoo of a word across my wrist. On my first visit, I booked an appointment, arrived and was basically scoffed at by the tattoo artist - Trinty. I can only assume that this was due to her consideration that a simple word tattoo was not worthy of her. Albeit the meaning to me extremely significant and.. dare I say - far more significant than a lot of those full sleeve tattoos made up of a random design. Further, on the first visit I was made to wait a half an hour whilst she had a cigarette. To this I simply waited and ignored.
The end result of the tattoo atrocious. Blotches, bits missing, off centre and the colour wrong.
I returned to Valley Ink and I will give them this, the person that I spoke to was extremely helpful, agreed with me and advised that I would just need to book another appointment and it would be fixed. Thus, I booked an appointment.
Today - I arrived 5minutes prior to my appointment. I was made to wait for 40 minutes whilst she finished someone else off. Then she advised that she was just having a smoke. I was got to the seat 50 minutes after my scheduled start.
To which Trinty then stated - whats wrong with it. I am not sure how anyone could miss the blotches, the missing ink and colour. To which she replied it is cause it is on the wrist. I responded that - friends with the same tattoo do not have this problem. oh its just different melanoma. To which I again repeated it is blotchy and uneven.
The tattoo was then gone over with such harshness that I thought that she was going to literally push the skin off.
At then end she advised - you will have breaks because of your skin folds. To this I just walked out.
If you are going to blame dodgy workmanship on skin then maybe you should get another profession. I am disgusted I was made to feel so bad about something that means so much to me.
So no - I do not recommend this place. read more
