I messaged Drain Pro to get them to map the pipe so the plumbers could replace it. They responded to my inquiry quickly and showed up exactly when they said they would. They checked the pipe, found that it was mostly just clogged, and showed us that the hole is very small and likely does not need replacement at this point. Then he gave us advice on how to keep it clear without them having to do it regularly, but also that he's happy to keep checking it for us going forward. Additionally, we had a power outage literally right as he was about to put the snake down the pipe, but they came back a couple hours later (well after 6pm) when the power was back and did the job. Then they didn't charge me an arm and a leg! The guys were very polite, went out of their way to be neat (going around the house instead of through it), and cleaned up after themselves. Couldn't be happier. I hope I don't need their services anymore, but I'll happily use them again if I do.

I'm going to call the rest of this review the $104 lesson of which, to be fair, part of it was on me. When I had called to ask for a quote for the work I wasn't aware of the service call fee ($36) or the "layout/inspection" fee ($68), both of which, to my surprise, showed up on my invoice. One plumber came out to give a quote then the next day Kevin showed up to perform the work, different from what what originally spec'd and wasn't inspected by the former after Kevin completed the job. What's on them: When my call was taken I should have been given a breakdown of charges for an inspection/quote, service call fee, mileage, "layout/inspection", hourly labor rate, and best-guess parts. What's on me: I should have asked in my original call what charges would show up on my invoice before having someone come over to give me a quote.
