I found Joe through a networking group he is in. Joe is a fast, smooth talker but doesn't follow…read morethrough with his words. The market is the highest it's ever been, homes are going way over asking price, mine didn't even go for asking price. It didn't appraise and Joe didn't inform me honestly of my options. Any good agent would know the market was going way over asking, so he knew. I paid closing cost that the buyers pay (I paid for it when I bought it), I asked Joe about this and he said no it's seller's cost (I asked another agent, they saying it was the buyer's cost) but I still paid for it (trusting him being honest with me and truly wanting to help me in my best interest representing me as my agent). There were 3 offers and he said he went back to the other offers to get another offer after the appraisal come in lower. Joe telling me to come to an agreement with the buyer (which again was lower than the asking price in the HIGHEST PHX market ever, where others are going 50K plus of asking price). Thus I got lower than asking and he didn't work hard or inform me of the market and I could have easily gotten more. He also said he would be me a few connections on other homes (since now I can't find one with the market being a huge seller's market), he still to this day has not helped me find another one or provide me the info of a few homes HE SAID he would (slick talker), still haven't heard from him. When going through the closing, the closing documents were incorrect every time the title company sent them to me, which by the way is the title company that is his, changed the buyers request of title companies and he said they would give me a percentage off (never got a few percentage off). I had to track down the tax info and the HOA info, no one ever mentioning me they couldn't find the info, I could have helped them get the tax and HOA information. The final title agreement I signed was NOT the same numbers as the ones I signed the night before for my title paperwork. So the title company changed the final title documents' numbers after my final notary signing. They also added the warranty fees which we NEVER discussed or in any of the other documents previously. I am extremely disappointed in Joe and his integrity. My only guess is that my condo wasn't "worth" his commission time, if that's the case he should have said that from day 1 and I could have found an agent that wanted to represent me. I would be very vary of Joe's integrity and honesty.

They allowed him to change my commission fees, on three different occasions. When I spoke with the title company and I sent them images, and signed documents relating to the commission, and after refusing to sign the bogus papers, they made the correction. BUT... don't let this happen to you. Find another company who is reputable and does not discriminate nor try to scam senior citizens. VERY SAD

However, Duke managed to make the strenuous process feel much more simple and actually fun! Duke was very flexible with meeting our requests to view homes. He was very transparent on what fees we may incur, and was a great resource for information regarding today's home buying process. Golf Realty has a easy-to-use website for viewing homes which gave us the opportunity to see what's on the market ourselves. Given the current covid pandemic, There was limited inventory on houses for sale. However, we provided the must-haves and nice-to-haves to Duke and he came right back to us frequently with a few homes that qualified under our expectations. Duke was really good at recommending homes that fit our requirements, and at no time did viewing homes feel like a waste of time. On the contrary, it made us feel like we were productive in the effort of finding the perfect home. At the end of the entire process, we are glad we used Golf Realty over anyone else. I went to their website and expressed interest. Within 45 minutes I had a call back that I missed but they left me a voicemail. Travis followed up with me a day later and talked about their company and what they could do for me. He asked me a bunch of questions and looked at the entire picture. He laid out a few options and asked me what I wanted to do or my goal was. I explained to him and he listened. He never pushed the wrong product on me or pressured me into anything. Throughout the process Travis communicated with me daily if not multiple times a day. He is great with text messaging and email so he isn't blowing up your phone while you are working. Every step of the way Travis kept me updated and made sure we knew what was going on. There were a few times we hit some speed bumps he explained them and told us how we would work through them. There were no surprises, everything that happened was expected to happen or at least explained could have happened. The loan was almost done and he called my current lender messed something up and his numbers were off. He explained I could either bring money or he could go back and up the amount by just enough to finance it in. I told him I didn't have the cash on hand and it wouldn't be possible we would have to cancel if that was the case and wait a little bit. He told me he would make some calls and get back to me, it wasn't but a few hours before I had a call back, he was able to get my loan upped just enough to cover the small need. Come to find out my current lender had messed up and I got all that extra money back but this was not Hendry's issue at all. Closing time came, Laura called set up time, I showed up with my wife we signed our lives away as you would expect and we were done. Travis took time out of his day to come down and meet us in person and go over everything with us. Over all this was the best process I have ever been through with all my home buying experience. This was a simple Refi and it was done in no time! From start to finish I felt like I was his only customer, they all took the time to listen, find out what my needs were and took care of them.
