We have frequented this farmers market in Hagerstown for 10+ years. They have a huge selection of…read morefresh produce, canned items (jams, pickles, etc), as well as plants, and we enjoy stopping in to get locally sourced food throughout the spring, summer, and fall. They're closed part of the winter, but before Christmas they have a great selection of holiday decor including wreaths, garlands, and trees. Parking lot is quite large so no need to worry about parking! During COVID they have some safety precautions in place-- masks worn by employees, and plastic in front of the register.

Shopping at ALDI is honestly one of the best ways to keep grocery costs down. The prices are…read morenoticeably lower than most places, but the quality of many products is surprisingly good. The only thing I still can't get used to is the shopping carts that require a coin. I understand the idea behind it, but it does feel a bit outdated sometimes. It would be nice if they found a more convenient solution for that. Other than that, it's a great place to shop if you want good value without sacrificing quality.

In my Aldi order I requested fresh unfrozen salmon. I received frozen salmon. the package said…read morenever frozen, however mine came in a frozen package. which btw was very difficult to open. My second complaint is regarding produce. I ordered several items of produce. All the fresh produce was not so fresh. A bag of fresh spinach was half rotten, bananas spotted & bruised & avocados that were already way gone. The sweet potatoes I had ordered were very small & wrinkled. Also received celery with ribs that were brown. As a senior citizen I order delivered food & trusting the shopper to provide fresh food to me. I tip well & am often disappointed with what I receive. Also be sure to look at their freshly made foods packaged to go. The salads are absolutely jam-packed into their containers. Such a great value. And don't get me started on their desserts. We even appreciate their local selection of lemonade and other odds and ends.

When I asked if gloves are used to handle food, she told me they don't. With all the viruses and bacteria going around, this is very concerning. The goodies change with the season and can be reserved via their Facebook page once the menu is posted on Friday. Meat from a farm a few miles from your house, produce too! Think green, think of quality... The quality sucks they won't be here week after week. Confused by the soft toys made in China but everything else is local. Local jobs, local people, local economy how does this not commute to being a great deal for all? Next time the wifey has her eye on local meat. I promised not to tell the brothers & sisters what happened to there sibling should we drive past. Great place, great prices that go back to those that produce the food we eat & not a middle man. No farms = no food!

Cows were free roaming right near the driveway-- close enough that I could snap a few adorable photos from my car. It immediately set such a warm, authentic tone. Walking inside, I was blown away by the selection. Of course, there's ice cream (and what a variety!), but they also offer meats, cheeses, paninis, chips, beef jerky, fromage cups, and more. And the flavored milks? Chocolate, strawberry, and even cookies & cream -- so fun and so fresh! They have both indoor and outdoor seating, so you can enjoy your treats rain or shine. I went with the Cheesecake Collusion ice cream, and wow... if you're on the fence about trying it, consider this your sign to do it!! Creamy, decadent, and absolutely unforgettable. This dairy isn't just a stop -- it's an experience. Between the friendly atmosphere, the variety of delicious options, and those happy cows greeting you at the start, I'd recommend this place again and again. Can't wait to come back!
