I had made great progress in Physical Therapy until I hit these setbacks and travelled alllll the way back to square one. I was certain I would be out of luck, unable to continue with PT, and that I would just have to deal with it, but Sean's exceptional knowledge and knack for truly caring about his patients led me to fully healing despite the setbacks! He takes great pride in fully understanding where the patient is at in their capabilities, he pushes you just enough, but never too much, and he is extremely patient and understanding of literally everything. I truly thought I'd be in pain forever, but Sean dialed it back and worked with me from Square one all over again, never making me feel like a burden or like it was my fault that my injury had had pulled me all the way back to the beginning. His focus is helping his patients thrive. Though I have had to have Physical Therapy for longer than I anticipated, it is solely because of Valir that I am able to move around without pain and regain the active lifestyle I had prior to surgery. On top of helping my hip heal, Sean's knowledge once again shone through in the exercises he had me do, as they helped me regain balance and strength, and namely core strength on top of healing my hip. I have better balance than I did before surgery! Kim is the front desk Superhero and she manages appointment setting, insurance and everything else, including corresponding with the doctor, obtaining all necessary paperwork, approvals, etc and she is an absolute delight to see every time you walk in. The clinic is and has been taking numerous COVID-19 precautions such as taking your temperature when you walk in, wearing masks themselves and requiring masks for patients, limiting the amount of patients in the clinic at any given time, and sanitizing before and after every patient, including equipment used, and changing pillow cases, etc. The clinic is never hard to reach nor difficult to work with. They truly want to help you feel better! Sean also keeps an upbeat, light-hearted atmosphere with the Weekly Riddle and joke posted on a whiteboard for patients to see while in their sessions. I will only ever come to Valir when needing Physical Therapy!

If I could give this place zero stars I would gladly my grandmother almost 80 years old was moved…read morehere after she had to have a total shoulder replacement and surgery on her wrist she also broke her pelvis and toe but her doctor wanted those to heal with time and rest so after she was moved here at first glance this place is beautiful the outside looks nice and the lobby is nice as well but as soon as you enter into one of the rooms the floors are sticky and it just looks horrible they had doctor orders to change her dressings EVERY day for a WEEK it wasn't done once then after they got extra orders from her doctor which was to take the dressings off to let her arm breath and be less constricted they ignored it completely when I went to visit her I could immediately tell her dressings haven't been changed i also confirmed that with my grandmother she also said they haven't given her her insulin her blood glucose level was 320 so I myself took her dressings off and the more I took off the more I was horrified it was left on so long it started to change colors it was clear to me and anyone who actually cared to look that her wounds have become infected from her dressings not being changed her fingers were turning a different color because the blood flow was being constricted from how tightly it was applied which would have been fine if it was changed like it should be every day after I got her dressings off the nurse came in and said to me that she hasn't gotten around to changing her dressings yet it's been a week and some days and she's trying to say she hasn't gotten around to it it was absolutely disgusting the people who work here do not care for their patients instead of the nurse being worried about how my grandmother's arm looks she is worried about the fact that I took it off mind you they have ORDERS from her doctor to change them every day they also have orders to take the dressings off to let her arm breath but zero of that was done after I took off the dressings not once did any of the nurses even look at her arm not even once I had to demand that they bring her insulin she's a diabetic and they were informed of this fact and still didn't give her insulin it's ridiculous my grandmother has a call button on her bed to call for a nurse well said call button isn't attached to the bed and she can't get up due to her pelvis so the call button falls down quite often to where she can't reach it the nurse told her to stop dropping it mind you it's not ATTACHED to the bed so it slips off and they told my grandmother to stop dropping it then a few days later i came back and took her to her doctor so he could see how her healing was going in the 3 ish weeks she's been there she got 2 infections in her arm and a bed sore the doctor said she might need another surgery to clear the infection all because those nurses can't do their jobs but he prescribed her to take some anabiotic's to try to get it to go away on its own then when we got back here I gave the nurses the new doctor orders for her treatment she was to have her dressings changed twice and day and she was to have her anabiotic's twice a day and the doctor wanted her to start the anabiotic's as soon as she could well after I got her back in her bed my grandmother asked for the medication and they refused to give it to her telling her she's going to have to wait for another 5 hours before they would give it to her then a few days later she was scheduled to have some physical therapy seeing that my grandmother can't walk since she has a broken pelvis they had to wheel her out in the bed well they wheeled her out and just put her in the lobby had her wait there for a few hours my grandmother then asked when the physical therapy would start they then told her she's was going to get any today so she asked to be brought back into her room and they told my almost 80 year old grandmother with a broken toe and pelvis with a arm she can't use that is infected they said to her "you can get there on your own" so my grandmother was forced to try to stand up and walk back to her room with no help she was crying and worn out and in pain she had to ask a random man that was just visiting he didn't work there if he could help her back to her room this place is horrible I wouldn't even trust them with a dead person it's disgusting how they treat their patients no care no help nothing even her doctor said they have this place on a don't recommend list it's absolutely disgusting and ridiculous I have no clue how they aren't shut down 0/10 stars

This facility is a joke, my 77 year old grandmother came here for rehab after surgery and was…read moreneglected in her room swimming in her own urine after telling the nurses she needed to go and no one came after waiting an hour plus the staff gets mad at her after the accident in the bed. The nurse shoves her oxygen tube up her nose, making it bleed and hurting her nose, plus condescending about the whole situation. The charge nurse by the name of Angie is very condescending and disrespectful, plus she doesn't care about anybody but her little pocket change of a paycheck, which it shows. Every elderly person who walks into this facility isn't incompetent or out of their right mind to know right from wrong my grandma is 77 years old, yes but she's all there in her mindset and can tell you what's right or wrong. I've had my own experience with Angie via phone, and she is indeed disrespectful and very condescending, which I've got facts over opinions plus the few other staff members had the same attitude which makes me think they're trained to be this way so take your loved ones elsewhere because a dog wouldn't get the care it needs in this facility, much less your loved ones. Last didn't even change her wound care properly and made things worse which it's been documented heavily.
