My 85 year old father was layed to rest 2/25/22. Seven and a half years after my mom was. Both were at Valhalla in Midfield Al. When my mother was later to rest Valhalla told us the casket, vault,opening and closing of grave was not paid for. We knew mom had said everything but the flowers was paid for for both her and Dad. Valhalla said Dads was not paid for either. Mom paid for them in 1985. We went to dad's and found the folder. Everything was paid for and Dad's was paid for twice. So they paid for 3 funerals and Valhalla tried to get them to pay 2 more times. My father passed on2/19/22 and again Valhalla said the casket, vault and opening and closing of the grave needed to be paid for again. Now mind you they called my sister to inform her before we had even come in to speak with them. We came in the next day. We had our receipts in hand. They still said that there was a ballance. Mind you we are grief stricken and how many of our elderly would pay those fees. If this is not enough to get your dander up, MS Floyd whom said she was the manager was assisting us.when I called her out, she was rude and accused me of having a problem. DO YOU THINK. They attempted to fleece us 3 more times above dads being paid for twice. At my dad's service I brought my 11 year old house trained dog. MS Floyd said no animals were allowed not the dogs on their adds.she said he had to be a support animal and be on a leash. Nothing on the door about animals, I got his leash out of the car and came back in. I told her I didn't see anything on the doors about no shirt, shoes, or dogs, I told her he was on his leash and we will close the door so he would not bother other people. I closed the door and she opened door back up. Now we technically rented that room for 3 hours. I should be able to close the door. She informed me if I did not take the gig out she would call Midfield police. I took my Dachshund, Beaux outside and put him in the truck. She was so nasty the entire time it was not funny. I came inside and as I went by her in our doorway , I told her she was a dirty birdy and god was going to get her. She called midfield police had 3 cars come. Now mind I never cursed or yelled. She threw me out of my own fathers funeral. She is a dirty birdy that throws a temper tantrum when she is called out when attempting to fleece people. Y'all she needs Jesus. Please pray for Ms, Floyd.
