Our guest needed to use the restroom and both the City of Colfax and Colfax's rest stop were out of power and closed!!! It was crazy. All the people tried to get into business, etc. It felt like the end of the world... This review is just for the restroom and a gallon of gas (to support), lol. Atmosphere - Small 4 pump gas station. Easy in and out. Public restrooms. Easy entry from the outside. Again, I would only visit due to an emergency, like today... Actually any day, lol. Service - Self service. It's too bad I can't give negative stars!!! This place was filthy! We told an employee that he was out of soap he said, "so?" The inside of the convenience store was bad... Under-stocked and shameful compared to other Valero stations. We, unfortunately we're out of gas or we would have kept driving. PLEASE DON'T STOP HERE! Stopped here for gas, drinks, and got a snickers. Went to use the rest room couldn't hold it any longer or else I would have went some where else. The rest rooms at this place is DISGUSTING, FILTHY, POOP AND PISS all over the floor, and walls. Looked like someone took a piss and just squirted it all over the walls, all over the floor, around the toilet. Garbage, and used toilet paper all over the place. No soap, no paper towels, no toilet set gaskets. The owner of this place needs to clean their nasty filthy bathroom up. We as customers support your business, and without us you wouldn't have one, as your customers, do us a favor and clean your business! Clean your nasty bathroom up and keep it clean. Off of 80 & Applegate exit and can't see from the freeway exit. Came here for a break, restroom, and gas on the way to Tahoe. So like almost everyone else here, this is got to be one of the dirtiest restrooms. A single restroom that lighting was dependent on a window above the door. read more

an Indian man working here roughly in his mid 20's with ear piercings has made me and several other underage girls extremely uncomfortable. he canceled my transaction forcing me to go into the store and talk to him. i told him to please stop talking to me as i am an underage girl. he then proceeded to lean on my car, touch my hand, try to enter in my gas for me and stand extremely close to me even after i asked him to go away. he continued to ask repeatedly for my name and stare at me through my windshield while my gas was pumping. read more

My car broke down going up the pass to Reno so I stopped here to check my radiator and see what was going on. The great thing is that 3 really nice non English speaking men helped me out and refused my money. So sweet! I ran in to buy oil and the guy inside with a turban was on the phone and very rude. Then I had to go ask for a paper cone, ugh. I didn't want to go back in a third time but I was stranded and thirsty so I went in for water & a Diet Coke. Still on the phone & still rude. NO STARS. the bathroom inside has a "out of order" sign on the door so i asked the indian guy whom i paid at the register if there was another bathroom outside (i thought i had seen someone open a door on the side of the building outside when i drove in) and he said no. I asked twice cause he wasnt clear about my question the first time. Well my bf had to go that's the reason we stopped in the first place so we ran out and sped towards the freeway. I looked back and I saw A BATHROOM OUTSIDE ( blue sign on the door) AS WE DROVE AWAY. IF U CANT UNDERSTAND/SPEAK ENGLISH WTF ARE YOU DOING WORKING THERE!?! Don't f*ck with people's bladders. I've never written a review about a gas station before, but I feel compelled to warn everyone else about one of the filthiest & most disgusting gas stations ever. The bathroom is filthy, with an open cardboard box for used feminine hygiene products (clearly not emptied for days), a broken toilet paper dispenser duct taped to the wall, a rusty sink, an old cracked sliver of Lava soap, & (of course!) no paper towels or hand dryer. I was appalled--the average portapotty is way cleaner. Even if you're desperate, you *don't* want to stop here. Keep driving.... read more
