This was a whole grilled octopus tentacle served over turnip greens and boiled potato, all dressed with paprika oil. We also had the rice of the day from Le Petit Tamboril, which was a paella of rice boiled in a yellow seafood broth along with chunks of shrimp and calamari. The rice had a deep, umami, seafood flavor from the broth and perfectly crispy, caramelized bits (socarrat) on the bottom of the pan. Everything here came at a great value, and the lively, hip atmosphere made for a fun place to dine!

We had zamburinas (baby scallops served on the shell with a lemon butter and topped with a dab of,garlic aioli), filloas (seafood crepes), and provolone fried with honey. Each was wonderful and delicious. Our server was patient with our poor Spanish and brought the dishes one at a time so we could share. GO HERE! You won't regret it.

I wanted to find a nice restaurant to celebrate finishing my 6th camino and this was the top rated…read morerestaurant on TA so I decided to check it out... all I can say is that each of my 3 courses were all exceptional!! I had the chestnut & chorizo croquettes, followed by the roast haunch steak (veal), cooked to perfection, and then when I was practically bursting, I also had the quince jelly with cheese mousse which was so much better than I ever could've expected. Treat yourself and come here, you won't be disappointed!
