Poorly installed portable

I usually don't leave reviews, but I feel it's important to share our experience living at what's advertised as "luxury apartments." We've been dealing with a completely non-functioning AC for over 2 months, during some of the hottest days this year. After multiple work orders and empty promises, we're still being told to wait "another 5-7 business days" which has already happened several times without any results. On top of all that, the manager, Tim, has been no help at all. He constantly dismissed our concerns and made us feel like we were overreacting, which felt like gaslighting. There was no accountability, no urgency, and no real effort to fix the issues. To make matters worse, the temporary portable unit they gave us was taped into place, constantly falling, and blowing hot air right back into the unit, making things even worse. There's no excuse for this kind of patchwork solution in an apartment complex that brands itself as "high end". Also, the front left stove range didn't work from day one, and it took over two months to finally get it replaced. That's just unacceptable. No one should have to deal with this kind of neglect, especially while paying for what's supposed to be a comfortable, upscale living environment. I sincerely hope others don't go through this, which is why I'm sharing my experience publicly. Please be aware before signing a lease!!!!

There is no security in this place. There's no rules at this place. Every single hallway smells like complete garbage all day long because people don't listen to the trash valet rules. My neighbors leave their trash Friday night and it doesn't get picked up till Sunday. And they just stack up their trash in the hallway. There is no enforcement here people do as they please, my neighbor told me that she saw a homeless person sleeping in the planters one morning when she was running,

Animal feces has turned white, all around the community due to not being picked up. at what point does our management decide to clean up?

I have been a resident for three years and decide to speak up and voice my concerns through this platform as well as Google. I have reached out to on-site management and also have tried to voice my concerns to a regional manager "Andrea Clare" who said she would plan to contact me on 8/25, she is now non responsive as we are on 9/15. Managements job is not only to bring in residents, but to uphold the marketing and advertisement as a "Luxury Apartment in OC". To also maintain peace and comfort to the residents who live in the community, which is a concern. Since it's not comfortable to live in a dirty community, also, since we have seen people moving in putting us residents in edge, who are submitting fake money orders & being evicted. Troubling our community by walking around with guns (how can this happen right?). I feel when a resident wants to speak to management and especially upper management. They should listen. It's not right for us to be paying so much money to live in a community where our concerns are not validated and taken into consideration. You would think by us speaking out it would help them do a better job. Not quite. -Trash is being thrown around the community, it sits there for days and sometimes months. -The community only has one person cleaning over five buildings of hallways, parking spaces grassy areas and dog parks (the gentleman is kind and overworked) it's not his fault our community is dirty. -Landscaping is the least that management can do for our community to look nice, unfortunately the landscapers that they have do not do a great job and you see weeds growing from the overgrowth of plants throughout the community. The palm trees also need to be visibly maintained. Brush and plants are not shaped. -There are dirt patches throughout the community that have animal feces that has been sitting there for months, it is now dried up and the color white. We know as a community that each animal owner is supposed to pick up after their pet but after weeks or months has it sitting there at what point does our management decide to clean up? -The dog park is cleaned with a water from the water hose, pure water is used to clean the feces and urine of the animals. Before Windsor was Fairfield management, who used the proper procedures of using water to spray down the turf, then spray and enzyme spray/disinfectant with a big machine to let the enzyme spray sit, then another round of water to rinse it away. My dogs love to use the dog park and unfortunately they don't like pooping anywhere else. I have spent hundreds of dollars in Wipies to wipe their hands and face every time they come in from our dirty community. It is very sad and disappointing that our community is failing us. I am not the only one who feels this way, talk to our neighbors are current residents who all feels the same. Something needs to be done, one man cannot clean this entire community. He needs help. The landscaping people are not great they need guidance. Management needs to walk the grounds, I never run into them and I'm home over 50% of the day. This is our home!

I lived here for a year. Feb 2025-March 2026. I'm just going to be real on my experience. Many many…read moretimes we had no hot water, the boiler would keep going out and when they had to fix it there were times they had to shut the water off for a period of time. Our car was broken into while parked in the car port, the lock on the door and ignition were popped good thing insurance covered it but still out deductible $. Someone stole a package from my door. Homeless man tried to enter our apartment, homeless woman sleeping in the hall of our building. Get a ring door if you live here! Laundry machines were out of order many occasions. My sliding door had to be replaced shortly after moving in, the front windows leaked water, the water started to leak from the top of the new sliding door, due to the leaks the water got into the wall and it was mushy had water damage. The parking is a challenge being they only give you 1 assigned spot but you can ask them to put you on a list for an extra parking spot but there is an additional fee. The way they bill for utilities was explained to me depending on the occupancy of how many people live in your unit, so hope and pray none of your neighbors have a bunch of people living with them that they didn't put on their lease, our utilities for two people would run anywhere from $100-130 a month. Our bathroom had no window only a fan so there really is no air flow so it would get mold and mildew on the ceiling and the walls and I would have to bleach the ceiling and walls weekly to try to prevent mold and mildew. The tub caulking would also get mildew and it was hard to get clean, the water in La Habra is not very good it is very hard. The water would come out brown or yellow. Be careful of the cleaning products you use on the bathroom sink it will strip the color and you will be charged. Approximately 60 days or more before our lease was up we received a rent increase of $153, you can ask them to reconsider a lower increase amount but this seems to be a yearly increase. When you move in make sure you note everything and let them know because even if it is a little spot on the wall or the floor or sinks and tub, if you don't you will be charged for it when you move out. The staff can be helpful, Yvette and Jake were my go too people, and maintenance are always very responsive. These apartments are old and need upgrades for the amount they are renting them out for. They say there is security but I never saw them the whole year I was there. It is not a gated community and there is no management on site.
