La Reina Friendly Restaurant The first was a new, modern tapas place in the heart of downtown with pinchos tapas (where you select your own and save the toothpick to pay). My favorite choice was a salmon topped bread. It's also right across from a Las Fritas - a store of only French Fries - which looked amazing. 2. El Botijo The second was a traditional place with a dive bar feel. They served a dessert wine as well that you drank out of a super cool glass "Porron" pouring pitcher (you can buy your own version at Simple for €5,50 BTW). Here we ate delicious 3. Las Cuevas The third location was one we had already been to, but was by far my favorite. This traditional tapas place has a cool castle feeling and large outdoor seating section...and the most amazing fried brie pieces topped with a fruit jelly. SO delicious. They also have a huge menu of tapas for regular visitors and served a delicious dessert wine as well. The tour was great and our guide did a lovely job explaining Spanish traditions and the different types of tapas you can find in the city. He was also more than happy to help us with our random Spanish dialect questions and gave the tour in English as our Spanish is still in progress. I definitely recommend this tour for newbies to Valencia and repeat visitors alike. It's a great way to start your trip to the city.

He had to tell us in English and another family in Spanish and did so without us feeling like we were waiting for anything. We went back in the afternoon to visit some of the places he told us about more thoroughly, but we would not have found them without him showing them to us in his tour.

He took our safety very seriously while providing the most fun experience for us. What's impressive about him was how patient he was with my 9 yr old son and hubby who were more excited about riding Segway than the Valencia tour itself. We did the 90 mins tour and it was the most family fun we've had in a long time. We passed by a bunch of pedestrians and bicyclists and I'll have to say, riding Segway made us feel super cool. Highly recommend you check this one out!

I have been on numerous different Hop On Hop Off Bus Tours, and here are some Pros & Cons for this one IMO: PROS Tickets are affordable- Especially the 48 HR The Bus has Comfortable Seating Bus was on time at different stops Routes cover a lot of the City You learn SOME about Valencia CONS There is no guide map Employees aren't enthusiastic- don't seem to like their jobs. Even the salesperson looked disinterested The audio has static at times and sometimes cuts off mid-sentence Bus only comes every hour All in all, we still enjoyed this tour!

This was the BEST experience I had in Spain…read more I loved the tour because we got to see the main parts of the Old Town in Valencia and then walk over to a secluded area to go to our dinner spot. The dinner spot had such nice ambiance and since the company owns the spot, it was a private dinner for our group. We tried multiple wines and had multiple rounds of tapas. Bogi was absolutely amazing. She's really knowledgeable about the town, the food, and the wine we tried. She was very welcoming and accommodating. I also loved the group we were with. It was a great experience and I HIGHLY recommend it! I'm not adding too many photos, because part of the fun is being surprised. You won't regret this experience!

Totally knowledgeable in ALL history, especially Spanish history and all extra questions asked outside of the standard tour. The food and drinks were really good. He gave history on the spices and where the food originated and how the wines were made, the ingredients and the regions they came from. DONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE or with ANYONE else but Danny @ Sea Saffron. I'm sure other tour guides are great but if you get a chance, ask for Danny.
