Not only did he have a wonderful experience with his young team but the coaches really focused on healthy player development, teamwork and the importance of a "team" and fixed the bad habits learned young. My son has also been to many of the vacation camps that they offer and has a BLAST. These guys all focus on cultivating the player's strengths, working on the player's weaknesses in a calm manner, cultivating the love of baseball, while raising the bar and transforming these young players into competitive athletes! Additionally, the communication between management, coaches and parents completely open and transparent.

They took the old defunct Extra Innings Woburn and renovated the space with new cages, indoor turf and lighting. The facility is extremely well lit, which is a major plus, as many of the indoor baseball businesses in the area have poor lighting. It is easy to book tunnel time online and their rates are competitive. The owners take a no frills approach to the business. There is no pro shop or vending machines to speak of. The owners love of the game is apparent in everything they do, from running the center to coaching kids in their AAU program. They also feature many quality instructors with impressive credentials. The A's proprietors, Brian and Scott Blumsack also run an AAU program out of the Woburn location. There are 7 teams from 10u to 18u. The program started 2 years ago in this location. They play in highly competitive tournaments throughout the summer and are very involved in the development of their players. If your child has the talent, they can help them get to the next level.

I have been here before but did not write a review yet. So I bought a new metal bat and I wanted to…read morebreak it in real good. So me and my friends come go up to Middleton from Chelsea, because indoor cages are in our area are hard to come by. So they do lessons for kids but not sure about adults. They have a decent size for a shop has everything you need for baseball from batting gloves to socks. Now the cages are not bad at all better than most places. They only have 5 and 1 of them is a home run derby kind where you can see the distance of your ball where it lands. The cages are operated per token, 1 token 12 pitches with options for baseball or softball. Slowest pitch is 40 mph and fastest is 70 mph and a softball slow pitch option also. So I was confused on how to get the cages to operate, so there is a machine that gives you the tokens. It's a black machine that's by the entrance where you see the wall of shoe boxes. There is a paper that's on there that shows you how much dollar amount you put in to how many tokens you get. Overall this place is one of my favorite places to go to. They need one closer to the city because it's an awesome place because here baseball never dies even thru the winter.

We did however end up on a team w a handful of Reading people who joined together and decided to leave together. This left our team at a disadvantage and was upsetting for us and our players. I'm not sure what happened, but it could have been handled better on behalf of those families. Not the fault of EI, but our experience suffered some bc of it. We would try EI again for sure and hope that the people on our team have a more team- oriented attitude!! "

Can't believe it took us so long to try this place (have been coming to the Cape for decades...)…read more It was a lot of fun. The bumper boats are a blast, the batting cages are cool, and the zip line super fun. The $20 one-hour unlimited wristband after 6pm is a great deal, and totally worth it. The coup de grace was finding a gem quality amethyst crystal in my "miner's bag" that measured 4-5" across with deep purple coloring. The owner and his wife are very friendly and helpful. This is now our go-to fun place!

There is also a cannon that shoots water from the side of the pool. You get wet, which is nice on a warm day. They also have batting cages, which are some of the only ones left on the cape. They were great too. The radar gun for pitching the baseball was also fun. They have two rock walls which are good for ages 6 and up. They have a zip line too, but my son was not old enough to do it. The sifting for gold and gems was a blast, they have several different sized bags to choose from. They contain gems and fossils mixed with sand and you sift with running water. A real fun time. It is cash only and there are no bundles with all or some of the activities.
