My family's interactions with this attorney during matters related to my 92-year-old grandmother's…read moresurvivor trust were a very difficult experience for us. My grandmother had created a trust that allowed her to manage and use her assets during her lifetime in accordance with her own wishes. After she passed away, discussions arose during the administration process suggesting that some of her financial decisions may have been improper or unnecessary. From our family's perspective, we were not presented with documentation or clear supporting information that explained or substantiated those concerns. Hearing those types of statements about my grandmother after her passing was deeply upsetting to our family. She lived a long and honorable life, and because she is no longer here to explain the reasoning behind her financial decisions, it was painful to hear her judgment questioned in that context. The administration process also became longer and more complicated than our family had expected. As time went on, the prolonged nature of the matter created additional stress and increased expenses for our family during what was already an emotionally difficult period following the loss of our grandmother. Estate administration is often sensitive and emotionally charged for families. In my opinion, situations involving elderly individuals and their financial decisions should be handled with particular care and professionalism, especially when the individual is no longer able to speak for themselves. Clear documentation and respectful communication can make a significant difference for families navigating the loss of a loved one. I understand that attorneys must advocate for their clients and represent their client's interests. However, from our family's perspective, the overall experience made an already difficult time more challenging than it needed to be. This review reflects my family's personal experience during the administration of my grandmother's trust and the impact the process had on us.

After reading Ms. Linder's reviews, I decided to schedule a consultation with her, and I cannot express what a difference that conversation made. First and foremost, she was kind, approachable, and incredibly easy to talk to, which immediately put me at ease. Most importantly, there was absolutely no hint of condescension at my lack of legal knowledge. I explained my situation and she listened attentively and patiently, asking thoughtful and relevant questions to gain a clear understanding of my circumstances. Even though I was not a client, I felt like I was speaking with someone who genuinely cared and wanted to help. Unfortunately, it turned out that she does not practice the specific area of real estate law that I needed assistance with. Regardless, she generously took the time to educate me about my legal rights and provide valuable guidance. I highly recommend Ms. Linder. She is a true professional, and I only wish she had been able to represent me in my case. Thank you Ms. Linder for your professionalism and kindness.

Susan Hemb IS the lawyer for family court issues…read more Susan took care of my divorce, child support, spousal support, and division of assets. She did everything to negiotiate and keep this case from going to trial. Susan and her professional, competent staff were life savers. After years of continuance after continuance with other representation, 2 paralegals, and trying to represent myself over a span of 7+ years, I had had enough. Susan quickly assessed my case and immediately went into action. She advocated for me well in court, dealt with difficult spousal issues, and did it in a kind, efficient manner. She will not waste your time or hers. Susan finalized my case from start to finish in less than 6 months. Susan's paralegal, Jacqueline, helped me wade through the paperwork, which, frankly was a mess. She patiently explained the questions on the forms and the exact documentation I needed. This was a tedious part of the process that Jacqueline helped navigate me through with appointments, emails, and phone calls. The information that Susan discussed with me before court finally made sense. Susan then had everything to fight for me in court. It was organized and clear to me. For the first time during this entire divorce process, I felt confident about going to court. They made me feel seen and heard. It was a breath of fresh air to finally deal with people who empathized, sympathized with what I was going through. Randeep, her office manager, helped bridge the gap between meetings with Susan, Jacqueline, and court hearings. She clearly explained my bill and the financial expectations from their office from the very start. My case mattered. I mattered. I was treated with kindness and respect, not just a number or paycheck. Hire Susan!

Save your time, money, and emotional energy and look elsewhere…read more I scheduled and paid for a consultation with Susan hoping for guidance during a difficult co-parenting situation. Instead, I experienced one of the most uncomfortable professional consultations I have ever had. She entered the room without greeting or acknowledging me and immediately came across as cold and dismissive. I had prepared notes and questions, but she repeatedly interrupted and focused on a single comment instead of listening to the full context of why I was there. The overall tone felt condescending and completely lacking in empathy. Within about 15 minutes I felt so unheard and uncomfortable that I ended the consultation early. Family law matters are already stressful and vulnerable. Clients deserve patience, professionalism, and basic respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
