In 2021 initial contact was made with MICHAEL CALLAHAN regarding a website. He and KARL LAWRENCE were primary contacts. Lack of results, unanswered/ignored emails and texts, poor communication, and in my opinion, their unwillingness to produce ultimately led to just giving up on them. No website was designed, no refund was given, my company has since gone out of business. Over a year later, in December 2022, I reached out to Michael Callahan and Karl Lawrence informing them of my cancer diagnosis and asked if it would be possible, since they never did a website and my business is now closed, to receive a refund to assist with my medical needs. Michael Callahan immediately responded asking for my CashApp information. I assumed that was because he agreed to issue a refund. I gave him my information the same day, then their communication stopped. After months of attempted follow up via text and email, KARL LAWRENCE finally called in February 2023. On that call, in addition to telling me of his father's battle with cancer, he assured me that I would be refunded in full in a month once their business picked up. In late March 2023 I began reaching out via email and text to follow up on the conversation with KARL LAWRENCE and the refund he assured me I would receive. Needless to say there has been no response. I genuinely feel like he made a mockery of my illness and financial situation. Not only do I find this extremely cruel and offensive to do to someone in my position, it's just wrong and inhumane. It is now late April 2023 and I have sent repeated text messages to MICHAEL CALLAHAN and KARL LAWRENCE, I've emailed the repeatedly, I've also emailed the company support email several times. Needless to say, all attempts to reach the company have been meet with no response. It's disgraceful!

Kevin came in with a really competitive price and since he was local we made the decision to give him a try. A down payment was made for him to get started on the site and he gave an estimated time of completion within 2 weeks. Weeks went by and Kevin continued to promise that the site would be completed by the next week or the week after. This went on for 14 weeks. I began doing a deep search on him via Google and discovered that several other companies had taken him to court over the same issue. After contacting the local police and attempting to recoup my deposit back I then asked Kevin to show me what he had accomplished on the site. He continued to avoid my requests and promised to return my deposit. Unfortunately, the cat and mouse game began all over again and he kept promising me that he would return my deposit next week, and then the week after and so on. I had already figured out that I was being scammed so I hired another developer who completed the site in 10 business days. I decided to stop the pursuit of my deposit and posted my experience with him online. He then began to post negative comments about me and my company online and I had to hire a company to have those comments removed. I own the mistake of hiring Kevin Burke. I performed the background check on him AFTER I gave him my deposit and allowed him to access my website on GoDaddy. It was a costly mistake for me and my company and I hope this feedback will save other business owners from experiencing the same grief.
