Upon selling my house MOC agreed to store my propane tank and the credit me for propane in the tank (800-900 gal) until we built our new house. When called MOC to request the tank and the propane we found MOC was now LP Propane. LP located my tank, but we were told they could not help us with propane - it was my problem. We contacted LP repeatedly seeking a fair way for both parties to resolve the problem of the propane credit. But with no success. I can only surmise LP thought we were crooks trying to cheat them out of propane. My wife was very disheartened on how she was treated. We have terminated our relationship with LP and now purchase from another company.

This winter, 1st time in 20yrs, my tank called for filling and WITHOUT notification I was skipped and I completely ran out of propane. They responded at 10pm when I called but got stuck just attempting to turn into my driveway. I'm 70+ and cleared the drive the next day at 6am due to being told delivery would be 1st thing. I drove out of my driveway to Lp in Blackfoot to show it was passable and returned home. Wind was blowing and the county graded the road thus depositing snow once again in front of my drive and Lp at 11am, result stuck at entryway to my drive. Coordination within this company and equipment for this environment is lacking. Once again you have people acting like their doing me a favor instead of me paying for a service. If I had been notified of a problem I would have corrected it and I would not be out of propane

After going through last winter talking to customer service reps in other countries with false promises and then having zero contact just to try and have gas delivered from the "other" guys, we called Valley Wide. Walt came out and removed the "other guys" tank, hooked us up to a new one, and had the tank filled in a single day (in the freezing weather no less) Thanks for what you do and who you all are!

Both companies swapped trucks on us at the last minute, but the similarities stop there. Both Penske trucks had cruise control, power door locks and an auxiliary input on the radios. The U-Haul truck was void of such creature comfort amenities. 700 miles of freeway driving without cruise control and music from a personal device made the trip seem even longer than it was. Advantage Penske. Penske rentals are unlimited miles. U-Haul sets some arbitrary maximum and charges $.50 per mile overage. Advantage Penske. A huge U-Haul oddity is the way they handle the fuel used. Penske has a 'full out' - 'full in' policy, U-Haul has a 'whatever' policy. You could pick up the truck with NO FUEL in the tank, and the have to guess how much to put in the tank to arrive with the same amount as when picked up. At $4 per gallon, one does not want to return a truck with an extra 10 or 15 gallons left over. Advantage Penske. When the U-Haul truck was picked up, the interior was filthy. We had to wipe down the surfaces with disinfectant wipes. The steering wheel alone used a full wet-wipe. The Penske trucks were delivered cleaned. Advantage Penske. As a heads-up, check the nylon straps holding the car tires to a dolly. Part way into the trip, one had completely fallen off. The staff had connected the car to the dolly, but the straps must not have been fully tightened for the strap to slide off the tire. They charge $25 for this 'service'. Epic FAIL. Now for the U-Haul drop off location in CO...unattended gated lot. What good is having posted business hours if there is no one there anyway? Cannot return a truck until you call and wait 20-30 minutes for someone to show up. They believe truck rentals are passive income. Same owner has multiple unmanned locations. Advantage Penske. The U-Haul price started lower than Penske, but U-Haul then nickeled and dimed my friend to the point that it ended up more than my Penske rentals. Again advantage Penske.

This has happened with every encounter I have had with them. Why bother with this Micky Mouse outfit when you have so many better options. Don't waste your time with this company.
