Her communication is unmatched, from our initial zoom consultation to staying in touch with us and our daughter learning about her and her style, interests and ideas for HER senior pictures. Tammy guided us every step of the way and helped with clothing choices, hair styles, accessories, etc. This was so much more than a couple of photo sessions. It truly was a custom-tailored experience for Sara. Both of our sessions were at outdoor locations and were a perfect fit for what Sara wanted. We never felt rushed during our sessions and Tammy spent so much time helping her through the poses and making sure that she was comfortable and relaxed. Tammy has an entire wagon loaded down with everything you can imagine making sure the session goes smoothly. From water to a mounted mirror and even a portable speaker so Sara could have her favorite playlist playing during the sessions. That was a great touch that really helped put her at ease! Our photos could not have been more amazing. The selection process was so difficult, there were SO many amazing pictures narrowing them down was almost impossible!!! Tammy worked so hard to help us narrow our choices and we were never pressured into more than we had budgeted. We picked out our prints and products and the entire process was so easy! I wanted high quality senior portraits of my son, TJ, and she came through! We had our session in her home studio, and even though my session was for just one hour, she didn't mind taking her time to really work with him to ensure the shots were just right. He had three outfit changes, and we chose three different backgrounds. She went through numerous poses, styled the lighting differently throughout the session, and did all but hang from the rafters (she's petite and TJ is 6'2") to get the shots she felt would look best. The resulting photos were amazing...it was SO hard to narrow our choices down. Again, she never made us feel rushed or pressured into more than we budgeted for. She guided us through our options for prints, and showed us some examples of what those look like as final products. The mobile app for the final photos is a great idea. I've sent it to all my relatives, living all over the world, to get their requests for printed photos -so handy! 10/10 would highly recommend Tammy to handle your event photos...I'm calling her in 4 years when my daughter graduates! I hired them for my sister's wedding, which totally saved the reception. EVERYONE got tehir photo taken by it - sometimes several - and my sister now has a picture of everyone at her wedding. The best part? No one took their shirt off in the booth (mom has some truly awful friends and relatives, absolute trash). The other great part was it kept the kids entertained so they weren't running around knocking the old folks down. Children and the elderly don't mix well, they're too much alike. Also, they show up at things in their cool Volkswagen and you can get your photo there. What event doesn't need a photo booth? When I'm elected Pope? Yeah, people will want to take photos. When Secretary Clinton is inaugurated the first and second time as President of the United States? Pictures or it didn't happens. Grandma's funeral? Okay, maybe that's too far even if she is a terrible person. Honestly, when I consider who my grandparents I'm shocked I'm not the antichrist. Each time I've visited Wooden Glen, it's been for a work meeting. On my last trip, I spent the…read morenight. From Louisville it's less than an hour drive, off the Henryville exit and down a curvy neighborhood road. While a scenic drive on a nice day, it was a little nerve-racking in the early morning. No sunlight and rain. The road isn't well lit and I had to use my brights, plus drive more in the middle of the road. On the path to the retreat center, you'll also drive through a covered wooden bridge made for only 1 car at a time. Check in was fast. About 50 rooms with double beds sit next to the main building and you can walk a long hall inside to avoid bad weather. The main building contains meeting rooms, eating area and a loft with snacks, pool table and a couple of arcade games. The loft is a favorite spot during meeting breaks - jars of candy, chips and ice cream. Plus, who doesn't love a free game of Ms Pacific Man? Our trip included all 3 meals and for the most part, decent. The employees there are very attentive, clearing plates from the tables. It's nice to not worry about bringing in food or having to leave and visit a restaurant. Wooden Glen has a great deck outside with several tables, giving your group another spot for meetings or eating. In nicer weather you'd have areas for walking and I believe they also offer a team building area. The rooms are large. I appreciated the sink outside the full bath and small patio outside each room for enjoying coffee. The bed wasn't comfortable - felt outdated and had a weak mattress. Everything was very clean though. The outdated feeling carries through to each gathering area near the rooms. Each have couches and chairs, sometimes a fire place or kitchen area. It's a large spot to have a party. Again, very clean but it would be nice to have new furniture. Service has been great at Wooded Glen, and this has been consistent with every visit. It's a great spot for work retreats or a large family gathering. Or, if you just needed a quiet spot to be alone, it would serve that purpose.

We had a retreat here for work which included 22 of us. We made this place our home, classroom, and our playground for 3 days! This is located about 35 minutes from downtown Louisville. Once you entered the property you are entering a place of Tranquility and peace. During our time here every need was taken care of. We had amazing food For each meal, snacks and drinks too! The day before we left we had Team building activities. Shaun and Amy led our groups through multiple events. These team building events were challenging and incredible. They created such an amazing and unique experience! The resort has hotel style rooms, volleyball court, horse shoes, walking trails, fire pits, and more! Can't wait to visit again!
