Major inconvenience! We needed to get a mailbox key from this location because they don't do the keys at the post office around the corner from us in Grand Blanc. I asked them to make keys and they said it would be ready Monday which was the week of Christmas and then I go in and it's still not ready and it's Friday. I was told to check back the following week. I don't understand why people make things difficult. The keys should have been ready but they weren't. It's quite frustrating! read more

If I could zero ,I would. Poorly run, post master RUDE and would not listen to my complaint of mail being dropped on ground, over stuffing of box with packages that took 2 people to get out and in the process my regular mail goes out the back of my step 2 box, blowing in wind. Apparently if you have others in your neighborhood that have dogs out ,even if yours are secured it gives them the right to do this with your packages or refuse delivery. However, I have seen her do this out my window, with no dogs in the area outside. No recourse. I have now installed cameras that will show video proof of utter laziness. I will gather enough to pursue legal action. I am done. How unprofessional. Just the mention of the word "dog" makes it all our fault. RIDICULOUS!! read more

This is a tiny post office on a side street that can be missed easy. I wanted to stop in and just drop off a few small packages in the drop box. They DID NOT have one. That is odd. I sell thosands of items and have mailed all over the state and never seen that before. Then I had to wait in line to just drop them off. After the 2 employees (who were working as fast as they could) go to me it was 20 minutes later. Good thing I get a hour for my lunch :) Staff was nice but the no drop box thing will have me not stopping in again. read more

Like a previous customer, I received a notice in the mail that said sorry we missed you. My husband sat right on our couch watching the mail person pick up the bag of food that we left for stamp out hunger and then my husband says I think your package came because she just scanned something. My husband finally went out to the mailbox and it was the "sorry we missed your card." We were right here she never even attempted to deliver my envelope & no info was written on the card either. So I took off & hunted her down. She first told me she was new and that they were told that if there's no car in the driveway that they do not have to attempt to deliver, I proceeded to tell her that my husbands car was parked right in the middle of our driveway!!!! So then she came up with another lie....I just came from the post office, to complain, her manager said that because it was a rural carrier, they don't have to attempt delivery!!!! ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS??!! So let's see, let's inconvenience the customer & make them come to the post office to pick it up TWO days later. What if it had been tickets to an event for that same night?! The customer service guy in the post office was very nice, nothing against him! I did let him know though, to let his boss know, that that is why people don't use the P.O. anymore!! read more

On December 23, 2016, I was notified by USPS that a package that was to be delivered to my daughter in hospice care was delayed and rather than arrive before Christmas would arrive after Christmas. Needless to say, I was dissapointed and heartsick because I and the rest to my family wanted this gift to be opened my my daughter on Christmas and not after Christmas. I can't explain why but the next morning, Christmas Eve, I felt urged to go to the Burton USPS location to see if someone might be there to retrieve this very special package. When I arrived the main office was closed and things were not looking very good for my family. I then decided to walk around to the back of the building where I found people loading their trucks. A gentleman by the name of Rick approached me and asked if he could help me. I then explained my situation and explained how important this package was for my daughter and my family. He then wrote down the tracking number that I had brought with me and told me he would check and see if he could locate the package. He left and approximately 15 minutes later a lady by the name of Jen approached me with the package meant for my very beautiful daughter. Overcome with emotion I began to cry because of this Christmas miracle. Jen seeing this hugged me and asked if I was ok, I asked for her hame and Ricks name so that I could give them the credit they deserved for showing my family that the kindness we needed at this moment in time. She then told me to wait and she left for a short time and then came back with Rick. I tried to thank him but once again I began to cry. He too hugged this old man who needed a Christmas miracle. I was expecting a package and received a "we missed you" notification in my mailbox with nothing at all written on it. I took it up to the post office thinking maybe the barcode on it would be some identifying factor for the employee to find my package. When I gave the lady the paper she immediately crumpled it up and threw it away before I could even say anything. I thought that was rude but then our exchange went like this: Me: That was in my mailbox. Deborah: There was nothing on it that's why I threw it away. Me: Well, it was in my mailbox though. Deborah: Were you expecting a package? Me: Yeah. Deborah: What was it? Me: Just a small package. Deborah: You don't know what you ordered? Me: Well, it's tea. Deborah: Thank you. (while looking and sounding condescending) I don't know why she had to be so rude. I wasn't the one who ordered the package so I wasn't sure if there were other things in with the tea and the "you don't know what you ordered" comment was obviously only said to make me look stupid. I also don't know why she needed to know what was in the package because it was none of her business. After she went to look for the package and didn't find it she came back and said they usually drop off packages at the office (I live in an apartment). I told her they've never done that for me and they always just leave it at my door. She said "well, they usually just leave them at the office". I just got done telling her they've never done that for me and she says that anyway like I'm wrong. Then she says it was probably put in my box by mistake and that the mail carrier that did it isn't that great at his job. Just a bad experience and I hope I don't have to go back there ever. read more

My package said delivered on the front porch as I'm sitting in front window . Sure enough , they delivered it in the neighbors front porch ‍. If I wasn't watching someone would've got nice riding boots I paid a lot of money for. Seriously annoyed. Then open my mail box and half my neighbors mail is in . Um, can't you get fired for that? I tried to call this branch and didn't have time to sit through a hour of automated voices to actually talk to someone. What a joke. read more

I absolutely hate this post office! I started going here because it was the closest to my home and the people that work here literally have something up their Ass ALL THE TIME! I was waiting in line and they were nasty and rude to every single customer before me . There were three people working and the older guy that's tall with glasses waited on me. I asked him nicely to scan in my packages so they can show they were accepted for my work receipts . He told me they were online and I asked him if he could still do it still. HE TOLD ME HE DIDNT WANT TO DO IT BUT THAT HE GUESSED HE HAD TO. The whole time he was standing there rolling his eyes . I asked him why he was being so rude to me when I did nothing to him and he just stood their pissed and breathing heavily like a damn monster! Watch out for clerk 6 ! He's a postal nightmare ! Won't be coming back here again! I'd rather drive an extra few miles to the next post office up. read more

I've had several packages, that are clearly labeled, delivered to the wrong address. luckily, they "ping" a package with a gps locator when its dropped off. I've had to drive over and get my own package from people I don't know and try to convince them to give me a package that they don't know why they have! All that because lazy people don't want to read an address on a package and compare it to a house number! WTF?! read more

The phrase "you're only as good as your worst employee" comes to mind when I do business with this location on Manor Dr. in Burton MI. Everyone there is very nice and helpful with the exception of one employee named Pat. He is extremely rude and very impatient. I normally use this location sometimes 2-3 times a week, but now i am considering driving out of my way to go somewhere else just to avoid having to deal with this employee's bad attitude and lack of customer service skills. I would strongly suggest avoiding going here unless he gets pulled off the counter or replaced all together. read more
