Recently a friend recommended Western Reserve Designer Fabrics to reupholster my current furniture in the fabric I loved so much. They did a great job, and having this fabric in my house is a dream come true. It takes about 8 weeks to get on their schedule, then another week or two for the work to be completed. It is pricey, but you get exactly what you wanted.

Laura of Pembroke is newly on my list of places to visit when I need a gift or want to buy something for myself (you know, for when you get in that mood of just wanting to buy something for yourself). I love that they are in Pinecrest and nestled near other wonderful spots. I bought a beautiful, glitzy necklace from the sale section that I cannot wait to wear. I'll be back!

We found Jeff & Jackie Pallack's Hudson Closet Company in a Google search, thank goodness. Jeff came right out to assess the mess and within a couple days, Jackie produced great designs for a pantry and walkin closet that made very efficient use of space. I was having guests over the next day and needed my house cleaned. Still never responded that whole day. The last and final time I tried to have her come out I requested that she would help with a couple kids of laundry and decided to say she doesn't offer laundry assistance and was going to send out someone else after she explicitly said she was going to clean my home. Truly and utterly disappointed.

I had an estimate for $500 from another painter and Florentina came in at $700. During the…read moreestimate, she told me that she was going to have to use two different types of paint to paint over wood and one for metal. During the job, she only used one can of paint but never credited the amount she "claimed" was the reason the estimate was going to be higher. I told her that I had a screen door and a glass door to paint. She gave me the $700 quote, yet on the day that she wrote up the order, she then added on $50 more. While I appreciated her quickness in getting the job done, she verbally gave me a price and told me the extra cans of paint that were going to be needed, then when push came to shove, she didn't use the two types of cans then upcharged me another $50 for a door that I already told her about at our initial meeting. I will not use her again for this.
