I called that night to see if they had made enough money yet and could now refund me. They lied to me again and said they could not because I had contacted my credit card company. The next day, the CC company refused the refund and said the store had to handle it. I had to then file a police report and threaten taking them to small claims court. It was at that point Citi Wine finally decided to be truthful that they could refund me and had me visit the store again so they can write me a check. Citi Wine & Spirits had plenty of time to make this "accident" right and chose not to.. making me think this wasn't much of an "accident" after all. If they were an honest company, they could have taken it upon themselves to issue the refund the day of the transaction when counting the till and seeing they were over $700. Instead they waited a couple weeks for me to notice on my own and then refused to refund me until I threatened legal action. Beware of these scammers.
