The carrier demanded proof of prior coverage even after having provided it. Twice! A full month later, the carrier demanded I send proof of prior insurance again! What the freaking use is that? When I started reading other reviews, it is apparent that the carrier uses this tactic to double or triple the rate. If you have already cancelled your previous insurance, you are in trouble. Fortunately, I had not cancelled my prior policies, because I felt something was wrong, I read other reviews about Goosehead taking forever to process claims, if they even responded! OMG! It took me multiple requests and 4 weeks to get proof of my insurance with the carrier, and then after that they wanted my proof of prior insurance. The 30% savings promised was lost in days and days of chasing the goosehead corporate office. The blame was on the "quality control" department. They failed so badly, there was obviously no quality to control, just rampant inability.
