Worst experience ever. Insisted that our docs were at department of state well after they were in fact returned to them because something was filled out incorrectly. Horrible customer service. Bristle when accused of being called incompetent for such actions, which are fairly accurate. Now my family has to leave the country we are in and scrapped are our plans to get permanent residence here because of them, at least for now. Either way it is costing us thousands of $ extra. I was charged extra $75 to ask them to change the notary signature to electronic as the court required, since I did online international electronic signatures. So I had to pay $150 in total for the same document. I don't think it was reasonable. They overcharged. read more

Don't do it. This "service" just acts as a middleman who overinflates prices. If you need a notary in your area search for "notary in your area" then call them and ask them what their travel fee is. I was charged $140 by this guy and the notary actually only charged $35. She was appalled that I was charged so much for her services and let me know that notaries in Illinois only charge $1 a page plus a nominal travel fee to come to your house and provide the service. I was so happy to have quick access to an online notary after driving to 4 places who didn't have their notaries available. The process was easy but unfortuntely ketsia (the notary) never sent the notarized document or responded to my emails. Eight hours later I figured I'd been cheated, I guess, and it really put me in a bind. I called to get refund but they have no customer service answering or available, you have to email. Hopefully I'll get a refund but that still won't make up for the bind they put me in. read more

I would highly recommend not to use this service. They are totally inexperienced in virtual notarization. Lack of communication, lack of customer service, and seems like no one is running the business. Everything is through links and no personal phone to contact. Customer service has not clue to resolve any issue..always say I need to speak with my supervisor..seem like one man show company. read more

They lost my Birth Certificate. I sent it to apostille over 6 months ago. I don't know where it is, they don't know where it is, they won't even respond to any questions, 1 line answer e-mails with passive agressive tones at most. No number to call (only an answering machine responds which tells you to send an email), no address. 'Ashley Taylor' was the person I was talking to, just completely stopped responding after losing my documents. There is no 'higher up' no 'owner' no 'manager'. You send your sensitive documents to a ghost company who might just lose them. In times of pandemic and being a Born Abroad Certificate it can take 6+ months to get a new one, completely screwed me over, no customer service, no follow up, just straight up ghosting until they finally budged to give a 'refund'. "Refund has been processed" when I asked again about the state of my certificate. No information or confirmation of said refund, I don't see anything in my paypal confirming that refund either. Please, ignore their aggressive money spent in google ads, they save it elsewhere with literally 0 management. It's a complete ghost company of some random person sending documents here and there and losing them half of the time. If you don't believe me, simply try to get in the phone with someone in that company or ask them where they are. They don't even have an office. They just put money on google ads and scam people left and right. For apostille or legalization of any sensitive documents there are plenty of other companies which actually have an office, or some even the owner itself will talk to you to respond to any inquiries or doubts you may have. Avoid at all costs, just look at the other reviews, this is the 5th review and all of them are 1 star, with good reason. read more

Do not use...once you pay they will not take responsibility to obtain your Apostille documents..only blame others. I competed a notary appointment on 30 Aug and they received my documents on 8 Sep 2021 for a 7-10 day turn around. as of 30 Oct 2021, they say the Virginia Authentication office has our documents and have not returned. 3 weeks ago I contacted another notary and summited my documents directly to the Virginia Authentication office and have already received them back....at a fraction of the cost and without delay. Stay away, clearly a scam. I went through the entire process. Noveilie jumped on the Zoom meeting with me, right on time. Went over everything, she witnessed me sign a document. She instructed me to scan the signed document and email it to her and she would notarize and return it to me within an hour. An hour seemed like a long time for something that takes a minute or two, but I figured whatever. Well here it is a day and a half later, after numerous emails and phone calls, and I have never received my notarized document or any responses. Now I am going to have shut my credit card down and file a dispute. read more

My notary was sitting in her car, periodically yelling at her kids to be quiet. Additionally the notarized docs were not accepted. So despite the legality of California residents getting virtual notary, (California Notaries themselves are forbidden to do virtual ones), the end result was a waste of money. The is because the document's acceptability is entirely up to the place receiving them. In our case the answer was no, despite a wet signature.* Wet signature is the actual signed and notarized document. So after spending $40 on the notary and two $50 FedEx labels, it was not usable. Yes they have this concept in fine print at the bottom of the website but in two prior phone calls they did not bother to inform me that there is a big chance they will not be accepted. read more

total disaster . I notarised a document well ahead of time that would be used for a passport application. we are not American and not familiar with the system of wet signature. we signed from the UK and had a copy but they would never have been accepted and the notary would have known that. it cost us thousands of pounds to fly a document out urgently all because of a simple thing that Nicolette Hall should have known if she was truly a professional. she could have at least asked us do you need a wet signature, then we'd have know to ask the question. read more

I am serving a non profit in Bulgaria working with Ukrainian refugees. In order to comply with Bulgarian residency and VISA requirements, I needed to re-apply for both after six months. This means lots of documents, including a FBI background check that must have an Apostille. I decided to use US Virtual Notary because my coworkers suggested the company, instead of burdening my US friends to do the process that I had done preparing to move to Bulgaria. My experience with the US State Department Office of Authentications was good, efficient, and all the people I contacted were extremely friendly. US Notary was quite efficient in taking my money, but bungled the initial zoom appointment. They thought I was asking for a notary, but I wanted an Apostille, and paid for it, which is much more expensive than a virtual notary. I was told to have two form of picture ID for the appointment by email confirmation, and then they told me during the appointment that I needed to have a copy of the FBI document, I did not have that, and being in rural Bulgaria with no printer, it was not easily corrected. They told me to mail in my FBI background check, and then corrected themselves and said because I needed an Apostille, they did not need an anything as it was already taken care of with my uploading of the document to them. I needed the Apostille within two months of applying through US Notary. They did not communicate for a month. I emailed to see the status after a month, and received a curt reply that it takes 4 - 6 weeks. I emailed at 5 weeks, and had no answer. I emailed at 6 weeks, and was told to email the "authentications manager" so I did that, and was told that the document should be ready that day for shipping. I received no email or call as to if it was finished. I called the next day to see what was up, and the "authentications operator" told me that I needed to email the authentications manager. I told her that I had done that and she told me that was the only thing I could do, I asked loudly to please talk to someone and was hung up on. Then I received an INSTANT email telling me I was screaming at the operator and if I did not behave they would refund my money and destroy my documents. The email lied and said I had been sent an invoice, it had not, I searched all my boxes numerous times a day (spam, promotions, social and primary) They then sent a picture of the completed Apostille. I asked them to resend the invoice, and it was dated the day I called. I paid the postage, which was supposed to be international overnight, and when I paid I was told it would take 10 days for it to arrive. I asked for confirmation of receipt of payment. It was confirmed, I then wrote a negative review on Google, and received an INSTANT email after I had been charged $161 dollars, and it was cleared and confirmed that because I wrote a negative review, they would refund all my money and destroy my documents. They also told me they refused to communicate with me further, and gave me an email for their "legal" department. I emailed their legal department, and no response. Not only is this cruel and unnecessary, it is illegal to destroy federal documents. It also causes me great harm and may jeopardize my service as I will have to return to the states to start the entire process all over. This may incur THOUSANDS of dollars, and take me away from vulnerable people that I am serving. read more
