I went to just drop some packages off that were already labeled and to have proof they were scanned into the system, as opposed to just putting them in a drop box. The first time I was a little surprised the place looked so disorganized and dirty. I asked for a receipt and the person at the counter kind of huffed and gave me one. OK... Now tonight I went back and again asked for a receipt for the packages I was dropping off. I was told, by a different person, that they couldn't give me one, they just hand the packages to the driver... I told the person I had gotten one before. The person said it must have been for UPS and again I insisted it was for Fedex. The person just looked at me blankly, doing nothing so I ended up leaving. I just don't have the time for this kind of nonsense. I called Fedex to let them know of the experience. They confirmed I can expect a receipt every time I drop something at the counter. I'm well aware, been working with them for over 15 years. If you want professional service go somewhere, anywhere else.... I honestly don't know how people stay in business and how some people have jobs but never again.

I brought a return to this UPS store. It was a red dress from Macys. The package was open when I…read morebrought it into the store bc I didn't have packing tape at home. A young woman working there scanned my package and handed me a receipt. I asked about buying tape so I could seal the package. She said she would seal it. The package came back to me so I assumed it never made it back to Macys. I brought the package to UPS store, got the same young ladies, they said the return label was blank. Called Macys got a new return label brought back to UPS store. Same young woman told me it was the wrong label. I finally opened the package at home and found it was not the red dress it was a cheap tan pantsuit and a note from Macys that the return could not be accepted bc it was not a Macys item. So I'm pretty positive they stole my red dress return and sent the pantsuit back to Macys in its place.

Man With A Van has helped me with two moves, one in 2020 and another recently in March 2026. Both…read moretimes, the movers who have shown up have been professional and done a great job. With my first move in 2020, there was a bit of a scheduling issue, causing the movers to arrive later than originally scheduled and with a van rather than a truck (I had been told that it would be a truck in order to fit all of my belongings into one trip). Therefore, it ended up taking two trips. However, the owner made things right by only charging me the original rate for one trip. Mistakes happen and I'm fine with it, as long as the company owns up to it and makes it right. And there were no similar issues with my second move in 2026. The guys had furniture wrap and blankets to protect my belongings. During both moves, I did not find anything that was damaged at all. What more can you ask for!? I highly recommend Man With a Van! In fact, I'm likely going to use them again soon to help with some items that I will need to move into storage.

The dispatcher Paul needs anger management lessons…read more My friend recently moved across town and ordered Man With A Van movers as they had good experiences with the company in the past. Man With A Van gave my friend two quotes: a cheaper quote for Two Guys with a Van and a more expensive quote for Three Guys with a Truck. My friend sent the more expensive rate for Three Guys with a Truck. But then this dispatcher tried the blame game of "You didn't specify Truck" when to our surprise only Two Guys and a Van showed up. Lemme ask you a question. If I offer you a hotdog for $3 and a burger for $4, and you hand me 4 dollars, wouldn't anyone with a working brainstem assume that meant YOU WANTED THE BURGER? But my friend was sweet and offered: "Maybe y'all can come back tomorrow with three guys and a truck, because it's really a three person job", to which the movers declined. After a quick call, the dispatcher said there'd be no additional charge for extra trips due to the smaller vehicle. What's more is that one of the two Movers had a bad back and couldn't take the stairs like the other dude. So at some points the job is only getting done by one dude (you could argue one-and-a-half dudes). If THREE guys should be able to make the move of loading and unloading in TWO hours, then HALF that much manpower means... you guessed it: it's gonna take at least twice as long! Not to mention they spent extra time stacking things like Jenga inside the van to make it all fit in one trip. Because the job (that my friend agreed to pay $500 for three guys and a truck) took so much longer with one and a half guys and a van, Paul upcharges an extra $300!! Again, my friend is nice, and they're trying to hash this out cause they didn't get what they paid for, regardless of it it took more time. (And again, of course less manpower means more time). But instead of having a conversation with my friend, Paul starts SCREAMING at them, cursing at them, saying "You're Full Of Sh*t!" and threatening legal action immediately! My friend is begging through tears that they want to make this right; begging him to STOP yelling and panicking them. The mover's felt so bad and embarrassed overhearing Paul act like a jack*ss on the phone that one even offered to pay the remainder, but my friend, still shook up and in tears, said that they wanted to make this right and moved what little money they have around to pay as much as they could. We're ALL struggling out here, and the movers def deserve to get paid. I'm sure the dude with the hurt back needs more money and easier hours, but the company is working him to the bone. But to have this dude Paul berate and coerce my friend, spitting venom over the phone? Shouting until my friend is begging in tears for him to stop? I'm never gonna forget that. And this company needs to make things right. The job took long because of Dispatch's mistakes. They sent 1.5 guys to do a 3 man job, without the agreed upon equipment no less. If you want a stress-free experience: steer clear. If you want some jerk from New York taking out his daddy issues on you: you've come to the right place.
