It's convenient,…read morereasonable, clean, open 365 days a year and they offer full service dry cleaning, and wash, dry, fold service. The laundromat is staffed 7 days a week from 8-5:30. I have used this facility several times since moving to town and every time I have seen and chatted with the friendly attendant. The machines are typically in good working order, they run on debit/credit card, there is also an in-house laundromat card system - I don't use that per say. While you wait there is excellent free Wi-Fi, need a snack? The facility is right next to a Cumberland Farms, and a local Chinese take-out (I'll try that soon and let ya know). There is plenty of parking and it's in the heart of Winthrop close to Hannaford, and other conveniences. I am happy having this little gem so close to where I live. It makes laundry day not feel so much like a chore. I would be remiss to add this is also a tanning bed salon for those looking to use that feature. I can't speak to the tanning process or the conditions as I don't use that feature - but it's here as an option as well. Happy laundering!

I called the guys at D&J and my call was answered by a real person, there was no "Press 1 for this...press 2 for that..." I easily scheduled a weekend appointment-even with the threat of winter storms they were willing to keep an eye on the forecast and stressed their flexibility. He quoted me that a typical move like mine would be about 4 hours. I had packed all that I could into moving boxes. With the exception of furniture. Which, they broke apart AND reassembled perfectly in my new place!!! Score! They arrived promptly on a Saturday morning, they practiced masking and social distancing and you could tell the way the team performed seamlessly that these guys knew what they were doing and they treated my possessions with kid gloves. They went above and beyond during this freezing winter move. With one guy on his knees with a hammer chiseling my frozen BBQ grill from the snow bank that encompassed it! They accept cash and check only -I wished I could have paid with my debit card as I seldom use cash now-a-days. But, that said, the crew waited for me to dash to the ATM up the street, so I paid that way. For me, they charged $130.00 an hour. And it was beyond worth it! They spent 3.5 hours between both places, that included disassembling and reassembling my bed and my daughters bed. These guys know what they are doing. They were quick, professional, approachable and treated my furniture like their own!

Washing machines are standard top loaders no large load washers. Dryers are very large and work well. Washing machines worked well. The lady working here was polite. I read there wasn't enough chairs or no vending machines. You're surrounded by restaurants and a grocery store. Stop crying. Listen, you won't be "blown away" at how awesome it is here, it's a place that does laundry. And it works.

I waited on hold for 32 minutes in the middle of the work day with the most annoying and persistent hold music. I am hard of hearing so I have to wear headphones for phone calls and I had them turned way down because of the incessant ringing in the aforementioned hold music. The lady on the other end rudely said "I can't hear you!" as I hurriedly tried to explain to her that I was fixing my headphones. She immediately hung up on me. I was fuming of course but I needed my issue addressed so I immediately called back. This time I only waited 24 minutes and kept my headphones on full blast while I listened to the annoying hold music. The same rude lady answered the phone and I, not wanting to be hung up on again after an hour of my life wasted, quickly explained that I needed to change my mailing address. She was almost comically rude and accused me of committing fraud. At this point I burst out laughing and she proceeded to, for the second time in an hour, hang up on me. The funniest thing is that the Maine DMV website says you can't change your address online and you need to speak to someone but I sent an email and they did it without any issue. So glad I wasted all that time to be told incorrect info by someone on a power trip. Guess I wasn't committing fraud after all! Who knew??? If you have to choose between having your fingernails torn out or talking to the lady at this office, I guess I'd pick the latter but otherwise? Avoid at all costs.

I was helped by an amazing lady on the phone who guided me through what I would need for my CDL transfer (my out of state license expired while I was recovering from surgery) and helped me get dialed in prior to coming in. When I visited the site in person, I was fortunate enough to have the same lady, I wish I had written her name down, she was amazing and helped me through the process with candor, precision and some laughs. I just got it back and it's keeping perfect time. About 10 years before this, I sent my Rolex to California Watch Repair (another so-called Rolex repair company) to do a service, and a month later my watch had visible water droplets on the inside crystal. I found The Watch Repair Center and after speaking with Errol I sent it to him. He cleaned out all the water damage, replaced everything that was irreparable and then did a full service. It then ticked as a Rolex should, and no water issues from then on. I can't speak highly enough about Errol and his wife Michelle. 20 Stars out of 10! Seriously!
