That any of these fine people stay to work here is beyond me. They corporations have dumped all their packages on these people to handle for little to no raise but some are dependent and waiting for retirement age and pension. And yet, you have weirdos that write novels about their little problems with the postal workers; just insanity. So, i say to those who complain--it is you who has ruined the spirit of cooperation and looking out for the little guy in this country and will be the ultimate ruin of this great american institution -- you little louis dejoys of the world -- no manners and slaves to greed with no thought for the consequences your criticism results in for your selfish little lives. The folks who have been there recently have been perfectly kind and even willing to go above and beyond the expected service when they are able. I remember there being rude employees here a long time ago (who may have just had their own issues/been misunderstood), but USPS transferred them. I have seen nothing but kind, helpful people here since.

the post mistress needs to have retired several years ago - she is surly to both customers and…read morestaff. she has a reputation throughout several surrounding towns, from customers, as being unkind, unhelpful, and going out of her way to avoid doing work, always blaming customers and staff for being in the wrong. staff try to work around her, and i have seen several staff leave their positions to avoid working with her. she is only concerned with being sure the nitpicky details of rules are followed, and never on helping customers or staff. i've watched this happen over the course of almost 5 years.
