    I'm killing time by writing this review as I stand in line at this post office for the 2nd time…read morethis week. A few days ago I missed an hour of work to stand in this line because after waiting 5 months, and paying $40 to get a key to my mailbox at the apartment I moved into 5 months ago, they finally called me and told me they had a key. When I asked the man behind the counter if he could check to see if he had any mail for me he said "no. It will be in your mailbox." Upon returning to my apartment I searched the wall of US Post Office boxes but there was not one labeled with my unit number. I used the key I was given to attempt to open any box, and finally it worked in one, but it was labeled with a different unit number. I left a note for the postal carrier asking if they could leave my mail in this box because that was the key I was given, but no mail has been left for me. I've been expecting something that was mailed to me over a week ago, so here I stand again in this horrendous line hoping someone can give me some answers or at least give me my mail. This is insane. I would like to think something can be done, but since I'm seeing complaints from over 10 years ago on here I guess there is nothing we can do except accept that it sucks and they absolutely do not care about us or our mail.

For anyone who needs more assurance, here is a nice two-paragraph summary. The passport guy sucks. I came in for an appointment and he refused to see me. After I was refused for my appointment, it took ten tries calling the office to get an answer. I was told on the phone that this location does passports, meaning they straight up lied to my face about not having my appointment. After I got a date confirmed on the phone to do my passport, the appointment dates on the website changed to no longer be available. I had two tabs open on my computer and saw the dates change. In short, this little charmer has been doing anything and everything to avoid my appointment. IDK if this is a consistent theme of his or not, but I'm going to have to assume so based on the way two different people in the front office were able to lie about services provided without skipping a beat. To be fair they were training new employees so I could have seen them at their worst. That doesn't give you the green light to lie about my confirmed appointment if you had just gave me a call saying we need to reschedule everything would have been chill.

    I called and asked if I can send a package for pick up, was told yes…read more When I got to store, they tried to charge me $37.50 to collect my package , they did not disclose this on the phone call. Instead of being helpful , they pushed their point that if an employee failed to tell me the additional cost , I should have gone to web site. Manager is awful , and led to me NOT sending out packages as planned, and now I'm leaving with out my delivery because of an undisclosed , outrageous , fee , for a car floormat that cost $68 The manner in which the manager addressed the issue was first to make me wait 25 minutes before coming out of his office. I watched another customer come in , and witnessed the employee fail to inform customer of high charges for delivery to store, I told the customer who was surprised as well. It's an absolute shame that a manager, who obviously has failed at his job of training and overseeing , has ruined my day , and vacation plan by not coming to a mutual agreement. He offered a $7 discount to pay $30 His reluctance to be assistive , was insulting, and ultimately he looked like he was enjoying the distress situation he put me in. I WILL NEVER AGAIN DO BUSINESS WITH THIS UPS STORE LOCATION IN STEAMBOAT. Manager , about as bright and helpful as a rock. If he is an owner he should loose revenue if he is manager , he should be fired. He has no hair. I do not t know his name.
