Nothing like finding a federal offense on a holiday. Tracking on my package that came from this branch indicated that it was handed to someone at the delivery location (it was not). Checked my mailbox and the box was stuffed inside with the tape and label cut with what appears to have been a knife or other sharp object. LYING MAIL CARRIER. Claremont NH POST OFFICE is absolutely useless. They NEVER answer the phone. I called over and over and over to no avail. So if you have an issue that can't be solved by an automated voice and menu then you will never be able to get it solved. So then when you go to another PO phone number to solve it higher up you will jump through many menu questions only to finally hear them tell you to hold on while "they" check for the availability of an agent. Then instead of connecting you with an agent it disconnects. THREE TIMES. OK GET THIS! I had a package of medicine sent from Amazon to an address that I've been sending Amazon packages to for months. The address is a regular one in my amazon address list. The package was not delivered on Sunday like it was suppose to be. Checked the tracking number. It said that it wasn't delivered because only the City and State was on the label not the name and street address. I spent all morning being incredibly frustrated trying to solve the problem only for the package recipient to finally have to physically take her two toddlers with her to the post office to be told that THE MAIL CARRIER DIDN'T FINISH HIS OR HER DELIVERY ROUTE SO JUST WENT BACK TO THE POST OFFICE AND MADE UP THE EXCUSE THAT THE ADDRESS WASN'T ON IT. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? The address was on it all along. Typical PO workers, standing around with their thumbs up their butts collecting a pay check. It alway wants you to take a survey but since it disconnect you then you never get a chance to tell them what collosal failures they are. I'd be totally humiliated to work there. read more

Terrible and makes up excuses and have heard all these excuses for over a year but lately has even got worse the Claremont post office. Have filled complaints to higher up. Other business have to get the product out and make do . Customers are not their top priority. read more

What's the point of having "informed delivery" if the postal employee doesn't deliver said mail for two days? I rarely get my mail the day it's supposed to arrive. The post office employee doesn't even stop for the flag up on my mailbox half the time either!!!! read more

This towns post office is horrible. We haven't rcvd our mail in 6 DAYS! I see them drive by our house and go to everyone else's on the street. Btw I have cameras so they can't deny skipping our house. I'm also signed up the image of each piece of mail coming that current day so I know we should have rcvd mail... One of the pieces of mail is our TAX INFO for this go around which in itself it a big joke. Anyways, they are holing our mail and I'd love to know why since u can't tell to a human via phone... Our carrier constantly delivers our next door neighbors mail to us, and delivers our mail to them. It is getting g annoying.

God awful delivery service. Often lies about attempted deliveries show up on the tracking information. Lies have been verified by CCTV cameras. Will try to deliver to businesses after business hours then just leave the packages at the post office with no attempts to deliver again. Will leave packages outside in the snow or rain... the list goes on. I have never lived anywhere that the post office was this bad. It truly is sad and their laziness shows all the time. read more

Do not deliver ceterfied letters or amazon prime packages to your apt,they are lazy and deliver them to the store in our apt building without any attempt to deliver to me. I have made a complaint and it falls on deaf ears at the post office.They just put a notice in my mailbox on the ceterfied letted and never attemt to deliver read more

I have been ordering a lot packages within the last month or two due to birthdays and holidays and for personal stuff. And only ONCE have I received my package. All the rest the mail guy says my apartment is "VACANT" which is not true because we were hope all day of the delivery and he didn't even attempt to bring it to our door. There's a door in the front of our apartment building that is not for public use. It is always locked. And it leads to a hallway, which then leads to tenants doors. Any of us rarely use this door unless we need to go to the basement which even then we do not have access too. All the mail guy has to do is walk to the other side of the building which is literally a 10 foot walk, and he can clearly see all 4 doors for all 4 apartments. And instead of doing that, the lazy mail guy just marks us as vacant and returns my packages back to the sender. This has happened with over 7 different deliveries and I am LIVID. I even went to far as to putting a sign on our mailbox saying "all packages MUST be brought to our back door" WHICH TECHNICALLY is our front door, just like every other tenant in the building. But because you can see it from the Main Street, the mail carrier plays stupid like it's no where to be found! Just walk the 10 feet and you'll see where we park AND all of our front doors! UGH. We use to get our mail at around 11:00 am, then it went to after 3:00, now it comes after dark. Friday we did not get any mail and I know we had mail as I check my informed delivery every day. Here it is Saturday and still no mail and as I said before I check on line so I know we had more mail. read more
