I was hesitant at first getting a zero turn in the first place is why I chose to get a top of the line John Deere x590 garden tractor. But when it gave me problems with less than 208 hours and West Central chose to not warrant the claim, I knew it was time for a change. This was the best move I ever made. Chip and his son, Joe, listened to my concerns and placed me in a mower for my needs. They took the time and the patience to direct me to a no-nonsense mower that would work for my acreage. I am now the owner of a new Ferris 500s zero turn mower. I can't thank the Hildebrand family enough. They gave me a good mower at a good price, have always been respectful with me and I know as in the past they will do right with me.

I visited this memorial once recently. The park is small but nicely maintained. Alongside the memorial are flags, benches, and shrubs. I did not spend much time here, but I appreciated how the community honored their members who served.

When I got to U-Haul, I was surprised by their level of inventory. I was still muddling around with what I'd need and Kylie and team offered suggestions on types, sizes and quantities. After I paid, they then loaded everything into my car for me. After two more trips to buy boxes, it was time to decide how I was going to get way too much stuff from here to there. Once again, Kylie asked me specifics of our move and offered suggestions for rentals. Weather was going to be a factor on both sides of the move and, once again, Kylie to the rescue. She worked out a rental schedule that gave us enough time to load, drive and unload all while avoiding the predicted bad weather. She also took the time to find discounts for our already massively over budget adventure. I've been singing the praises of Kylie but I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the rest of her staff. I was greeted with a smile every time I walked in. Everyone was friendly and kind which I really appreciated - just try moving your in-laws yourself - I needed a little kindness. I highly doubt I'll ever have another reason to make a move commencing in Latrobe, but if I do it will definitely start here.

It has been a long time since I ever stepped foot into this post office location. This branch is what was the Barnesboro branch prior to the Northern Cambria merger with Spangler. There were talks to close one of the locations in the area when the merger happened, but both remain open to this day. Probably has something to do with the amount of home delivery this end of town has. The other end of what is now NC never had home delivery. This location has always felt smaller in the lobby area as it is just the narrow strip as you enter the building. The window for service is small as well, an unlike the other location, does not have a separate room. Instead it has one of those roll down gates. Even with the smaller window, they do have some of the best customer service. We were looking for a package, in case you didn't know, USPS is messed up when it comes to packages and the delivery thereof. The guy working was able to confirm that the package came through there, but was going to have to boomerang back around. It's weird, less than three miles away is where it needed to go, but send it on a state tour before getting there. They were very helpful and gave us a timetable of when it would make its return. Was nice to have that type of service.
