The office shares a parking lot with La Peep restaurant, which is really nice if you want to have a meal and then head over to the office. Upon arriving, there are notices on the door that food and drink is not allowed-- this is strictly enforced as several people tried to enter with drinks and were sent out. Once inside there is an electronic kiosk where you can sign in if you have an appointment or can pick stand by and it prints out a ticket with a number. You're called by number and there's a screen to let you know what number they are on in case you're not paying attention (most people weren't haha) The process was smooth and efficient and the office was clean and had comfortable chairs.

Abigail was especially helpful and friendly and even though I was in a wheelchair everywhere in the building people opened the door for me and treated me with respect, as they did the other older lady like me in a walker. Highly recommend - this was the first time visiting here and the other DMVs we had been to were much slower and tedious.

Has anyone seen my driver's license that was supposed to come in the mail nearly a year ago? Oh, I got someone else's bankruptcy papers (I'm sure they appreciate that). My neighbor dropped off my husband's work mail the other day (private business by the way). Go ahead tell me to call them, complain!! What a joke. I tried this. The condescending woman I spoke to acted as if it were my fault because I didn't report the problem often enough. When nothing changes people give up. Then she acted as if it weren't happening. Yet I was able to prove it on the phone. So I asked her why we have so many mail carriers. She tells me that our route (right in the middle of town) is an auxiliary route (this means that they alternate carriers constantly). So in that case none of them ever learn this route. We have lost so much mail over the years and acquired so much mail that wasn't ours. It isn't unusual for neighbors to deliver each other's mail here. So customer service from here sucks!

They seem to take good care of the cd and dvd collection. There's usually some extra stuff going on at the library. They have a huge community bulletin board of events. Every 2-3 months they host a blood drive, and there is always a craft and a scavenger hunt available for kids. With your library card you also get a limited membership to Hoopla and Kanopy, for digital resources. There is an automatic renewal if no one has reserved the item and a generous grace period.

They may arrest you. You can be slapped with a citation for no real reason even if you are not in the state at the time. People speeding/running stop signs/outlandish noise in residential....they're too busy even with all their officers. Have a neighbor who is a cop? Expect them to get away with anything. Compassion-nope! Fairness-negative. I'm disappointed to say I am not impressed. I have always held cops to a higher standard & up until this department they have met those standards & some have surpassed them. This department needs a lesson on working with society. Not everyone is a criminal. Most are tax payers who want the best for their community. They have a long way to go before they meet my expectations. Just my Yelp opinion.
