My family member was placed in an…read moreextremely cramped room with two elderly homeless patients from a shelter who were belligerent, fighting, screaming, and yelling at staff. One used a bedside commode only inches from her bed. The environment was chaotic, frightening, and completely lacking in privacy. After we requested a different room, she was left in a public family waiting room for more than three hours. Basic requests for water and assistance with painful, bloody IVs were repeatedly ignored. Nurse Camille was rude, confrontational, and dismissive of legitimate medical concerns. When we attempted to escalate those concerns, Charge Nurse Grace supported Camille rather than helping us obtain appropriate medical attention. Most disturbing, Grace repeatedly refused and physically blocked our attempts to speak with the House Supervisor. She told us, "He will not come down for this. He is going to follow my leadership." She also responded to our concerns with, "It is what it is." A charge nurse should help patients access the appropriate chain of command--not stand in the way of it. The lack of compassion, professionalism, privacy, and concern for patient safety on this medical-surgical floor was shocking.

I was on hold for 35 frustrating minutes until I got connected with a representative who's command of English is "not exemplary", requiring me to ask her several times to repeat things she said so I could understand her. Despite the bill stating that payment in full was due "yesterday" (Sunday 2/22/26), I was told my bill was not "finalized" yet and that she could not set up a payment plan until it was. I asked when that would happen and she suggested I "call back in a week or two" (meaning: she didn't know). Extremely frustrating!!

The eye lids were drooping and when he was tired one would cover his vision. Dr. Ko did the surgery on both lids to lift them. We felt comfortable with this doctor right away and I was taking care of my husband after the surgery. Everything went well, the only thing was, my husband told me, he never wanted to go through that again. There was a lot of after surgery care and healing. But now you can not even see the cut marks on each eye lid. He was happy with the outcome and the follow up visits. The doctor was informative and good at what he does. We would recommend him to anyone of any age if they have drooping eye lids. If you have this problem it can get worse as the years go by so he decided it was time.

I also had a chest x-ray in that time as well as EKG. The staff have always been so amazing and helpful. I couldn't have asked for better care. I was kept comfortable and given my own room, which is a huge bonus and greatly appreciated. In total I was there for maybe two hours, and that includes going through a CT test and waiting for the results. I know that days and times vary with each different individual and someone may not have the experiences that I and my family have had. But I know for a fact that this is the hospital for us. The entire hospital is so beautifully decorated, clean, and quiet. Also, have you tried their food from the Cafe? If not, please do so. I highly recommend the rosemary with lemon chicken breast.
