It's a small imbiss style restaurant with limited seating inside and a few tables outside. The cashier/waitress was very friendly. We waited about 8 minutes for our food. The currywurst was pretty good, thick sauce and flavorful. The chicken sandwich was really good. Crisp on the outside, juicy inside. Will definitely be back for a quick bite.

Since my original review I have come back to Der laden a few more times and have noticed a decline…read morein quality. I ordered last night with some friends and the hamburgers were not good. The meat was dry, low quality, tough, and mine was super salty. It was really not enjoyable. They also put sour cream on the burger which is just strange and does not help the taste of the burger. The chili fries lacked flavor and the chili was not that good especially for 4 euros. The decor, service, and ambience is amazing but the food not so much. I hope they can improve because the restaurant could be amazing.

Sides include dirty rice, baked beans and tangy coleslaw and mac n cheese. Cool pub atmosphere with lots of germans saying y'all! Lol. When I die they can burry me next a good BBQ joint in Texas, Kansas or Louisiana. If I am in Bavaria, they can bury me in Hanau!

Only complaint were the chips which were a tiny bit stale but the meat and other toppings definitely made up for it. Bacon cheeseburger was really big and delicious. Ill be back!! Banana split is a must. So delicious.
