I've had some frustrating experiences with urgent care centers that don't seem to care about your well-being beyond the money you pay them at the front desk as well as attitude from the front desk... I had issues with the pharmacy today, and they called them THREE times just to make sure everything was sent over correctly. Ultimately, it was on the pharmacy's end, but as soon as I mentioned my issues, they took immediate action. Front desk is always courteous in person and otp. I would HIGHLY recommend!

Needless to say i took him to Eastside pediatric clinic who only accepts medicaid and paid out of pocket the doctor was awesome she treated his symptoms and gave him antibiotics and injections. I asked to speak with their higher up as this person clearly didn't know. This supervisor came into the room, gave me attitude and said "Are you going to want the test or not?" On top of everything else, they told me to take the tests to a facility that performs laboratory work. This is the first time in my LIFE that I've been informed that I had to do this. (Mind you I was paying for the tests myself.) As soon as they discovered that I was self-paying, their demeanor completely changed and they treat you like dirt (AKA assume you're poor and can't afford things). Cheaper doesn't always mean better. When I arrived, I was checked in right away and they were very quick to get me to the back (which is great because I have a low immune system and being around sick people will end me up in the hospital that same night). I was swabbed pretty quick and I got my results in 15 minutes. They gave me my copy of the test to send to Houston and I was on my way! Over all, it was a great experience!
