on Sunday December 1st , 2024 I cut my index finger and was bleeding profusely. I knew that WellCare now was again an in network provider with Excellus BCBS . I doublechecked with the two front desk staff members who confirmed. I was bleeding through my towel and asked for assistance they simply pointed to the corner to get a paper towel. once I was in the exam room the provider Katelyn Tivey. And she confirmed that the facility is in network with Excellus . At no point did she share that she Is NOT an in network provider!!! Now I am dealing with Excellus bill of 710 dollars !!! i consider it a fraudulent and criminal act by the facility and the Provider to not disclose the fact that PA Tibey is not an in network provider! This happened at the dewey ave in Greece ! read more

absolute worst experience at an urgent care. The PA was gas lighting me the entire visit and didn't even run one test even though he said I have a viral infection and I work I health care and could expose fragile people. He also said he doesn't believe in masking, I'm not sure what kind of urgent care this is, but it sure isn't modern medicine. read more

When I needed to go to urgent care, it was hard to find one because the reviews are pretty bad for almost all of them in the area. I tried to narrow it down by not paying attention to the reviews that were negative because of closing times, etc. I was really only interested in service, and this one had pretty decent reviews (not so much on here, but on Google), so I decided to give it a try. I'm am scared to death and do not like hospitals, doctors, nurses, needles, or any of it! Convincing myself to even go was a feat in itself. When I got there, I had to sit in the parking lot for a little while to talk myself into going it, to give you an idea of how hard this is for me. There is a sign by the road that says Urgent Care Now is in this building, but it's around the side. I had seen the red awning online, so I was confused when I pulled in and didn't see it. The sign right in front of the building by the sidewalk shows that it is to the left, but it's hard to see in your car. The girl at the reception desk was nice. She had me fill out a form, and then I sat and waited. I was the only person there, so the wait did seem rather long. It was at least 15 minutes, and I kept trying to talk myself out of leaving, so I kept looking at the clock, lol. A nurse came to get me like 15 minutes later, and she was nice. I told her everything that was going on, and she typed it all out. Watching her type it, I felt like I told her a lot! She took me to a room, and again I waited for awhile. Since I was nervous, I couldn't concentrate on anything, so I didn't want to look at my phone or do the magic eye maze that was on the wall. The only thing I could think about was getting out of there. And the room was silent, with bright blue tiled floors. I guess that is a good thing because you don't want to hear other people, but it was really silent; no music or anything. Much to my relief, when the doctor came, it was a woman. And from looking online later, I guess she is a PA rather than a Dr. I don't know if that's a good thing or not. I told her everything over again, she did some stuff, and then she left again. When she came back, she told me some of my options, and was concerned about the cost to me, which I thought was nice. Most doctors just order tests and tell you to get an MRI or whatever, and don't have any thought about what it will cost you. She at least realized that money was coming out of my pocket. And overall, I liked her. I liked how she spoke to me. She wasn't condescending or rude, which doctors so often are. They were going to take my blood, and her and the nurse said I had "bad veins". This scared me even more, and really is not a good thing to tell a person when they're scared (even though I don't think they did it intentionally). So when I sat in the silent room again, I was sitting there scared about getting the blood taken. In the end, they recommended that I go to the lab in the same building. That is probably the best recommendation I ever got because the girl that took my blood there was absolutely wonderful!!! She did it quickly and easily, and almost painlessly! I reviewed it separately, and it was Rochester Regional Health Laboratories. I highly recommend going there! So, I left that day and waited for my results. I had gone on a Friday and was trying to be patient. I assumed the weekends didn't count, so I waited all day Monday, and never got a call. On Tuesday I called, and they contacted the lab for me, and had a PA call me back. I'm not sure if it's the fault of the lab or of them, but since I'd gone to urgent care, I guess I thought they'd be a little more "urgent" getting back to me. It was a pretty urgent issue. So, all that being said, I am probably more at a 3.5 rating. Considering I was the only person in the waiting room when I came and when I left, I think I was there a long time. And I was left in the room several times for more than a few minutes. The actual care I got that day was ok, but I didn't really leave with any resolution other than my blood tests, and they didn't get back to me about that right away, and it would have made a huge difference if they had. So, I would possibly come here again, but I would plan to be here about an hour and a half. And if you need any test results or follow up, I'd be sure to follow up yourself and not wait for them to call you. read more

Traveling from Florida heading north for our four month summer vacation. While visiting family in Sodus Point NY. in June 2022, discovered a blemish on my face that was not healing. One of my family members suggested that I get it checked out. Went to Urgent Care Now Medical, 60 Barrett Drive in Webster NY. and was seen right away. Was seen my Ms Kaitlyn Kaminski, RPAC. She took a tissue sample and within a short time results indicated is was a form of skin cancer and should be taking care of. She immediately notified a specialist who was able to perform surgery during my stay there. called at 9:36pm and said i was 20 min away and needed a X-ray, the woman on the phone had told me that they close at 10, but they will fit us in. i show up at 10:00 doors locked. i called and they told me they were closed and not taking patients. i explained the situation how i JUST called and was then was called a liar and that they wouldn't help me. i was cursed at, hung up on, and disrespected. i think you can imagine my frustration of wasting 20 mins driving to be turned away for service, and not only that, but called names. i spoke to the nice X ray tech on the phone, and she explained how her shift is up (understandable, they close at 10) but it's very unprofessional that the secretary gave me misinformation, name called, and hung up on me. 10/10 don't recommend calling this urgent care, very disrespectful and unprofessional especially as a medical office. everyone else seemed nice, they definitely need to have more communication!! read more

WOW! This place is awesome! From the receptionists, to the PAs/Nurses/RTs, everyone was super friendly and professional. I arrived around 9:30am and was already being treated by 10. I was spoken to in plain language, made to feel I was the only patient they had, and I just can't get over the efficiency of the establishment. There is an Urgent Care closer to my home, but I would gladly travel any distance to be seen here again if the need arises. Even though this place had bad reviews it was right around the corner from my hotel so I gave it a shot. The staff was nice. The Dr was nice. I was there on Monday evening, Nov 8th. Dr Rutherford gave me excellent care. She examined me and gave me a prescription for my infection. She saved me. I had waited a week for my doctor to contact me. If it wasn't for her care I would have been walking around in pain for the next four days. This Urgent Care is the absolute best. I live close by so any time I have an issue this is where I go. There's almost never a wait and everyone is very friendly and helpful. The PAs here are better than any MDs I've ever gone to and always give me a wealth of information on anything I'm concerned about. The nurses are extremely competent and professional. I never feel rushed and everyone always listens to my concerns. I really can't say enough good things about this place. read more

Urgent Care Now... absolutely the one of the only places I will go if there ever is an immediate need for non-life threatening medical care! From the time we walked in to the time we left, all attention is on you and your need to get help is addressed ASAP! The PA on call was very good and explained everthing that she needed to do to fix the situation-- great bedside manner and it was very comforting to know we weren't a number to rush us in and out...the staff was friendly and the office very clean. Just came here to be seen for shingles. The dr just shrugged off how I felt because she couldn't physically see my symptoms. I told her I had this 3 times before but she didn't care. I then expressed that I have had-migraines this week with nausea due to shingles and questioned me sarcastically that seeming as if I were crazy to think that migraines could be a symptom of shingles. If u look it up, lady it is a symptom along with fatigue pain and the itching. I came here once before along time ago saying I wouldn't ever come back here and I decided to give it another try and I was wrong!!! I will NEVER come here again!!! The dr was a joke!!!! read more

Shrugged off my symptoms, incorrect diagnosis. They decided that my abdominal pain was caused by a "gas bubble" when I had told them I had been having very intense coughing fits for weeks. Long story short its my ribs that were injured, not an issue of having to poop. Very frustrated and will never be returning again. I suggest you don't either. read more

My family has spent hundreds of dollars in the last 60 days with your facility. I showed up at 7:58pm with two very sick kids including a baby covered in vomit with a horrible cough. Upon finding the door locked, I called the office and explained the situation as I was left standing in the cold with a screaming baby as your office clearly was still open finishing up seeing patients. The secretary put me on hold to check with a "provider" because their clock said 8pm. I was told come back tomorrow even though I begged to be seen. What health care provider or human being period turns a sick baby away after locking their doors early and hangs up on a begging mother? Had they looked at my family's last name they would have seen we had just been seen for flu and clearly I may have an urgent issue. You lost our business and I plan on letting other providers and families know about how disgusting your staff treated children in need. Part of providing excellent health care is showing compassion for your patients in times of need. In hindsight, it was probably best my family was not seen by your office if the level of care is anything like these individual's level of integrity. read more

I went in to get some gel for sudden pink eye & the Dr then discovered that in addition to that I had a sinus and ear infection. I just thought I was feeling crappy from overwork, but after completing the antibiotic course I felt good as new. Glad they didn't just write me off for obvious pink eye! read more
